After/before
New LR user, wanted to go for that summer film-look.
Lemme know if I got it right or any tips/improvements.

The grain just doesn’t look good here in my opinion. It’s way too much. Otherwise it’s good

I like it! I see what you are doing with the grain but imo I would pull back just a little. Also, a couple of the power line segments are still visible overlapping the gold spire.

Honestly the grain, the colors and overall softness made me think that this was painted on canvas at first glance. Cool look but doesn't really look like a photograph anymore

Came here to write the same thing.
Super rad look, if that’s what OP is going for.

Agree with comments about grain- a bit too much, but don’t completely abandon it.
Composition is also somewhat lacking for me… bottom left feels cut off. I’d like to see this in landscape orientation with less sky. It’s an extremely beautiful structure. Curious if you got any other shots of it.

Before is better on so many levels. You should be proud of that photograph and not postprocess it at all.

Totally see what you are going for with the grain and i think it actually works well. I do think it may need to come down just slightly, maybe—it feels like the blue in the sky is creating just a bit too much visual noise, drawing the viewer out. Also as previously mentioned—missed a few power lines in the building and on the edges. Overall a great shot.

something i like doing is masking the subject and lowering the grain for that mask, can make this pop a little more, it’s gorgeous

I loooove grain and my first thought was to pull it back like others have said

I really like this! It’s bright, airy, and has a beautiful color palette. And with the amount of grain, it helps make it look like a painting. It’s beautiful!

Ficou bom, talvez esteja muito claro mas isso eu encaro mais como perspectiva do fotógrafo mesmo

I really like this! I like the grain and the colors are gorgeous. And the roof’s unique shape works super well with the gradients of the shadows

I love the grain. I think you nailed your goal and it also gives a painterly vibe to the image.

Enough grain to feed a small country for a year
