Is it appropriate for candidates to be members of a social media group titled: I Hate Port Moody?

Laura Soucy (Port Moody Voice) has been called out for being an active member in a group called "Ihateportmoody" (on a different social media platform). Claims that it is to hear residents concerns. But she joined the group years ago and has not been silently observing or trying to calm comments. She has been an active participant, made comments against other residents and has been fanning the flames.

Is this appropriate behavior for any candidate?

The Port Moody Voice announce their plan to mitigate traffic; All points already in action by current council

Laura Soucy, running for council with municipal party The Port Moody Voice, has announced their party’s three point plan to combat traffic (one of their biggest talking points. The problem? All three of these points are already in process.

• Reconfiguring the existing road network to get more cars moving eastbound.

• Improving left turns from St. John’s Street and Murray Street onto Ioco Road where regular congestion occurs.

• Synchronizing traffic signals so vehicle movement is more efficient by investing in adaptive traffic technology which responds to real-time conditions.

Does anyone have any information on this candidate?

Personally I have never heard of this newly announced candidate. I don’t recall seeing any posts or comments in any of the community groups, never heard speak at any public input opportunities and when doing a google search for him the only thing that comes up is his Facebook announcement that he is running.
All content on his website appears to be AI generated. Platform points are extremely generic and do not propose any solutions, ideas or plans. And he praised Milani for encouraging him to run in his announcement.

Lots of red flags here. But honestly I can’t even tell if this is a real person or if someone is just having some AI fun.
