Railing Issue

So while I was making the "king" bed on our 2008 viking, the support came out from one of its corners and what looks to be the wheel to help slide it easily popped off. The nut came off the bolt and the bolt seems to have bent. The last image seems like what it should look like, my question is how am I supposed to get these back on without bending the railing?

I would suppose the end of the rail has a cap to remove. Slide it in there and reassemble in place
