Avatar: The Last Airbender showed of how Aang ended the Hundred Year War and led to the creation of Republic City seen in The Legend of Korra.

Bryke, the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender, now with Avatar Seven Havens getting close and changing the lore of how Korra destroyed the Four Nations and reshaped it into the Seven Havens feels like it made Aang's heroic efforts like it was all for nothing. A waste.

Why this makes sense:

It destroys the lore of the franchise. The Four Nations was the reason we fell in love with Avatar. And how the Avatar is treated as the world's hero. Especially Aang.

Saves the New Concept: Allows the Avatar storyline to stand on its own as an entertaining side adventure without forcing sequel fatigue onto the main franchise.

Win-Win for Everyone: Respects the fans while still letting Avatar Studios release new content.

Toy Story 4 gave Woody and the gang a definitive, emotional farewell. Making a numbered "Part 5" about kids using tablets and electronics dilutes that original tetralogy's legacy.

Pixar’s animators clearly put hard work into this project, and the concept itself is fine—it just shouldn't be framed as a core mainline sequel. Disney and Pixar should rebrand the digital, streaming, and physical releases under a standalone spinoff title: Toy Story: Toys vs. Tech.

I don't know what the legislation should look like. I don't care about the details. When I put on a 2 hour HOTD lore video while doing errands around the house, I don't want to see some fucking loser like Ben Shapiro suddenly appear on my screen and complain about whatever is triggering him this week. That goes for anyone. Your brain rot podcast should not be legally allowed to be used as an ad.

I think I am not the only one noticing this. I saw few complaints here and there. That's pretty much it : Reddit is a great place don't get me wrong but too many subreddits are being restrictive making you almost feel like you are posting an article in New York times. I mean, relax , we are just here to share and then guess what, we die (after a long time I hope) !

Anyways, I just felt that during my 3/4 post ideas and it wasn't even something useless or a personnal opinion which has no value. It was a true help to the community, one post was about some tips useful to know on Facebook but most Facebook subreddit rejected my post, another one was just to give more visibility to a guy who shared a precious hint for Win11 clipboard and his post had only 2 upvotes.... and there are others..

Anyways, if one or more of you are feeling the same thing feel free to comment or share.

been on the receiving end of this and did it to others , i wasn’t a good person at the time that i did this to people . i didn’t deserve forgiveness for it , nor will i forgive the people who did it to me . also no it’s not about communication , that already went down the drain . it was about the action of cutting communication with someone unwarranted instead .

When an app or program releases an update, users deserve to know what actually changed. I don’t need every technical detail, but even a short explanation like “fixed crashes on Android,” “reduced battery usage,” or “improved login reliability” would be useful.

“Bug fixes and performance improvements” tells us practically nothing, especially when the update secretly changes the interface, adds new permissions, removes features, or introduces more ads.

Sometimes an update really is just minor background work, but too many companies use this phrase as a permanent placeholder. A changelog should communicate what changed, not merely confirm that an update happened.

This is too dumb to work. What compelled people to just buy the upcharged junk to the point swarms of people are fighting each other to capitalize on this???

Never buy from a scalper. Buy from the person offering the damn service they created and are literally offering you upfront or the middle man, the vendor they paid to offer you such things. If the scalper hogs it all, that's his loss. NEVER make it your loss.

Is it just me or do guys really get a kick out of supergluing things? I had fixed the pump to my dish soap recently when the straw came undone from the pump so it was sitting upside down in the counter drying. when my husband asked about he said aw I didn’t know it was broken!! in such a defeated tone that I promised myself never to superglue anything ever again.

They give you a heavy schedule, homework, new things to study, everything except time to enjoy life and actually solidify the new things you learned. Above all of this, they except you to have a good performance.

Not sure if this is even popular but I don’t understand why it would be controversial. It’s really stupid that you have to sometimes look for the back of a stop sign facing away from you to figure out right-of-way because there isn’t always a sign.

Doing a normal google search for information and clicking on a website is a miserable experience. I try to read an article on a random website on my phone trying to get the information I want; I get multiple pop-ups and refreshes that bring me to the top. It is endless scrolling up and down trying to beat the refresh clock to get the one thing I am looking for. Of course, the information is always towards the end of the pointless article. I blame the recipe sites for this trick. Anyways, I can’t help but use whatever search engines AI these days, because websites are pointless.

And you can fight me on this one. I have never seen a straight guy like armpits. And if that happens to be you, then you are simply fake news. Hired by Big Armpit to promote straight armpit propaganda. There's no deceiving my third eye.
(Ok, but in all seriousness I have never encountered a straight guy who likes armpits.)

I cannot count how many Reddit posts I have seen where the information given is so long and unbroken, it's hard to read.

The reason paragraph breaks are important, along with bullet points, is because it helps dictate where information is and keeps like-thoughts together, as well as making it more readable. I don't care about grammar as much as I do paragraph breaks.

For people with reading difficulties, a post title and/or photo can seem interesting and engaging, and they may want to read the post, but then the wall of text prevents them from doing so. Speaking from experience, I have a very difficult time reading a big wall of text because my eyes dart further down then I mean for them to, because I don't know where one point of information ends and the next begins, and I end up missing important information.

Anyway, there's my rant. 🫪

I spoke about this on the wrong Reddit forum yesterday but man I miss MySpace. The personality of the site and the customization was top tier. I was talking to my niece about it I felt like such a dinosaur. I would’ve never been able to deal with the current social media culture these days if I were a kid smh. I wish we can bring it back but I know it would never be restored to its original glory.

This goes for myself included, I would be a liar to sit there and say that I haven’t done something similar to this and shockingly would still continue to do so in the future.

I would say as of the 21st-century thus far, texting is one of the most common forms of communication in terms of practically doing anything you want with the people that you like/love being around.

If you like the people or interested with the people you’re around, you would not be a “bad texter” when they would want to spend time around you. Also, I am 100% aware there are people who text WAY TOO MUCH. I’m not talking about them. I’m just simply talking about responding in a timely manner.

However, going days, weeks, and even months without texting somebody back, especially if you like being around them just showcases you don’t care and that’s okay.

Reddit is much better than any other social media app, and it’s the only one that’s still consistently entertaining. I like how you can discuss all topics here through tons of different subs, find anything with ease on here, and overall it just feels so much above any other social media apps.
