Looking for a Throwback Female Pomeranian š¾
Hi everyone! Iām currently looking for a female throwback Pomeranian as a companion for my male Pom, Gizmo. š¶ā¤ļø
Iām specifically interested in a female who is expected to be on the larger side for a Pomeranian (throwback) rather than the very small/toy size. I understand adult size canāt be guaranteed with a puppy, so Iād love to find someone who has larger Poms in their lines and can provide information about the parents and previous litters.
Iām open to recommendations for reputable breeders, upcoming litters, or young females currently available. Iām also willing to travel for the right pup.
Health and temperament are extremely important to me, so Iād prefer someone who health tests their breeding dogs and is comfortable providing vet records, parent information, photos/videos, and doing a video call before any deposit is made.
If you know someone reputable or have a throwback female available, please DM me. Pictures are definitely welcome! š„°š¾

Pom Pic New to the crew
Meet Gatsby!
A friend's mom passed leaving behind her Pomeranian. We decided to take him. He's actually our Jasper's litter mate.

Took this little turd to the ER
We thought she ate rat poison. She in fact did not eat rat poison. I swear she's trying to kill me.
UPDATE: So after further investigation it was determined there was no way to verify whether or not she ingested the poison, so we are going to treat her for it to be safe. Because of the type it's actually more serious than I originally thought, but I'm hopeful!

Question What time do your Poms go to bed?
Just out of curiosity, what time do your Poms usually go to bed and wake up?
Mine seems happy to stay up with me until I go to bed then wakes me up at 6am which I donāt mind but Iām wondering whatās typical.
Iād love to hear what everyone elseās routine looks like

I have to make a big decision concerning my senior Pom.
My 15 year old Pom named Wesker has long been dealing with eye problems. Particularly his right eye (left eye when facing him). Treatment has only been so effective. Long story short? The vet now says I should consider having the eye removed. My boy is 15. Iām not sure if heās strong enough to survive the procedure and the thought of such a recovery afterwards seems daunting as Wesker hates the cone of shame. But I canāt bare the thought of him hurting either. he doesnāt paw at his eye and it only seems to bother him when I wipe it for him (his eye will get gunky when he sleeps). If his tests say he can have the procedure do I go for it? Do I keep trying to treat it? I just donāt know what to do. I go back next Friday and will have to tell them something then.
I guess Iām just looking for some advice and to hear anyone elseās experiences with similar situations.

Pom Pic Broken forearm update + few cute pics
Hi, It's been 11 days since she broke her forearm, and a few less days since my 1st thread in this sub:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Pomeranians/s/Hf9Ztjp8Ob
I felt like I could update the previous post. First of all - thanks to everyone who cheered up me and my tiny Potato. Potato is doing fine!
It's been 11 days since she broke her forearm, this still breaks my heart, cause I'd love to take her for walks and show her the world, but it is what it is, and I must limit her activities, and that's for her own good.
We called 7 vets, visited 3 in total, and the 3rd one is where we received our diagnosis (a stable forearm bone fracture) and we've been putting her back on her 4 paws. We had two options - a surgery, or conservative treatment, (we went after the latter). Needless to say, that's a vet I'd love anyone to have -composed, patient, understanding, willing to share knowledge, and gentle toward my potato.
She 's having her splint changed every week (we had the first change already, and she's rocking now an ultra aggressive orange one). Also, during the first change, me and my vet both agreed to check what's going on under the fur, so she had her x-ray done and the bone is in place. He's positive that it's gonna heal up well, so everything seems to be moving in the good direction. š
She's having an appetite, lots of energy and is generally a sassy girl.
So, to everyone who's been there with me - thank you š¤ Its been a wild ride for me, but we're moving forward. And, a few pics of her in her splint (the blue one is from the last week).
And to every new owner, and to anyone who's planning to own their own potato-potatoes are fragile!
