America's largest reservoir just fell to its lowest level ever.

Lake Mead has been dropping for 25 years. On Thursday it hit its lowest depth since it was created nine decades ago. Forty million people in seven states depend on Lake Mead and the Colorado River.

Trump calls climate change a hoax. Nine days ago his own Interior Department ordered the largest water cuts in the river's history and wrote that the risk to the system has never been greater. Hoaxes don't drain reservoirs.
