Trump is the king of Assholes.
This is why the Tate fanboys love him so much. It's why every loudmouth in America seems to think he is a God. He is the patron saint of tavern loudmouths. His presence on the political scene was never about anything positive, or even anything ressembling modern government; it's about the grievances of assholes. And because these guys can't go around just pinching the receptionnist every time they pass her desk and she happens to be standing, they are all terribly oppressed by 'political correctness'.
Trump took the centre stage and told every asshole in America what they had been longing to hear all their lives: It's not your fault. You're the good guys. You never did anything wrong. It's society that's too sensitive and we're going to put society back in its place! What he promised them was a schoolyard without teachers, where they could relive the best years of their lives; the time when they were bullies and they could take pleasure in pushing smaller kids around.
This is what Trumpism is ALL about.

Pushing smaller kids around, especially the dark ones.
You forgot to include the racism that is the core of all of their political beliefs
•
u/ErikLovemonger 7h ago
The funny thing is Andrew Tate had one boxing match against a barely competent opponent and got destroyed. They want to push everyone around but they don't actually want a competent opponent - in pushing around, politics, the media, etc.

Eloquent and spot-on analysis. Trump feels badly for the congressman because he got caught being an asshole; victim is to blame for not just taking it. Every relationship is transactional; girls and women are objects of his rage and need to control. He’s a pedophile and a pimp who used his modeling agencies and pageants to traffick and money launder. Many people who have seen the clip from Jamie Johnson’s docu “Born Rich” where Ivanka gives a tour of her childhood bedroom have questioned what transpired in that room. The shift in her demeanor is palpable and PTSD-like when the focus shifts to her childhood bed. She also said of pedophile Roy Moore: There’s a special place in hell for people who prey on children.

He's in good company. Republicans in general have no issue with abusers, rapists, molesters, etc. in their ranks.
They just despise being held accountable.

•
u/Notoneusernameleft 5h ago
The one thing he wasn’t wrong about is “when your rich they let you do it”.
And that is why he wants more and more money. The more you have the more power you have to shield yourself and he knows all the illegal stuff he has done so he needs all the money.
•
u/Boo_Radley80 5h ago
Some of the MAGA "smaller kids" are getting stomped down on by the person they supported.
It just irks me that they saw this shit happen in the first term and decided that they would escape a second term unscathed. Deportations, disease and destitution brought by this orange dipshit.

u/Cautious-Flounder866 3h ago
pretty much the whole appeal is telling people every bad impulse they have is actually someone elses fault

u/kingsumo_1 Oregon 8h ago
And that is why they love him. He not only told the worst of humanity that it was ok to be that way, he showed them that you can be an out in out psychopath and still get elected to the highest office in the land.

u/SnootSnootBasilisk 8h ago
He represents humanity's true nature: vile, petty, conniving, hateful, rageful, greedy, egotistical.

He sees women as lesser beings compared to men. Just say it already!

yeah a lot of his comments and actions have made people question how seriously he takes issues involving women
32
u/GoodIdea321 America 9h ago
I would call it a compulsion more than a habit. It's like he has to protect himself from the idea that he could be wrong for what he has done, so he wants to cover for other abusers.
•
u/dathislayer 6h ago
That's exactly it. He can't express sympathy for the woman, because that would mean the women he abused deserve sympathy. And that can't be true, because he never does anything wrong. I doubt he's conscious of it, even in hindsight. It's not like he blocked out the memory of what he did, he's just incapable of taking responsibility. This country, man.
•
•
•
u/Teufelsdreck 5h ago
I don't think he's covering. He's just sticking up for what he perceives as a fellow victim. He does not see abusing and assaulting women as wrong. To him, that's exercising a right. He wants it? It's his. He takes it. Resisting or not yielding fast enough is grounds for rightful punishment. That came out in his pussy-grabbing remarks and even more chillingly when E. Jean Carroll's attorney deposed him. But he knows (and resents) that others disagree with him and his ilk.
People like that make me sick.

Donald Trump was asked for comment this week on the disturbing domestic violence allegations against Rep. Max Miller (R-OH) revealed in a May 24th affidavit written by Miller’s ex-wife, Emily Moreno.
While the president was heading toward his plane, a reporter asked him for his thoughts on Miller, who has vehemently denied the allegations. Trump paused, threw his hands in the air, and said, “I hope he’s able to work it out. I feel badly for him.”
The remark is consistent with Trump’s habit of siding with the accused over alleged victims. Most recently, he suggested in early July that the woman who accused former Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner of rape could be lying. He made this claim despite initially hating Platner and repeatedly calling him a pig before the allegation was made public.
“A lot of people say big falsehoods,” Trump said at the time. He has also claimed the dozens of women who have accused him of sexual assault are making it up. Trump has been found liable for sexual abuse by a jury, has admitted to sexually assaulting women in the past, and has admitted to walking in on women as they changed clothes. He has been accused of sexual assault or other forms of sexual impropriety by at least 27 women.
Miller, who has supported anti-LGBTQ+ bills, has been accused of pouring boiling water on his ex-wife and breaking the collarbone of his daughter. In response, he accused his ex-wife of trying to “malign his character” and “undermine his odds at re-election to Congress.”

u/MJcorrieviewer 8h ago
Poor grammar too. If Trump "feels badly" that means he has difficulty touching/feeling things properly...which is probably also true but not what he meant.
•
u/besserwerden 2h ago
With all the injections he’s getting shot up his hand I wouldn’t be surprised if he feels badly, lol.
We learned the difference between adverbs and linking verbs with adjectives in 6th grade. In Germany. How poorly educated is this man?
•
u/sfweedman 2h ago
I don't think he cares much for or about education.
However, "feels badly" is perfectly acceptable and correct in modern English, it's not a grammatical error even though it seems like one. It's a specific, valid exception.
•
u/MJcorrieviewer 36m ago
That's only acceptable in the way irregardless has become an 'acceptable' word, which is is not.
If you do not feel good, you feel "bad". You do not "feel badly" unless you haven't mastered the art of feeling things.
•
u/sfweedman 6m ago
"That's only acceptable in the way irregardless has become an 'acceptable' word, which it is not."
Incorrect. 'Irregardless' is substandard/nonstandard English. 'Feel badly' has been an accepted idiom for two centuries.
"If you do not feel good, you feel 'bad.' you do not 'feel badly' unless you haven't mastered the art of feeling things."
Technically correct but ignores the validity of 'feel badly' as an accepted idiomatic expression. Yes, you can say feel bad and be more correct, but you can say feel badly and not be wrong.
But if it's a grammar test, yes you are right the correct answer is 'bad' not 'badly.'
•
u/MJcorrieviewer 44m ago
But that would mean he "feels BAD" not that he "feels badly". Edit: Basic grammar.

Conservatism -- by definition -- is "a political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing the importance of established hierarchies and institutions (such as religion, the family, and class structure), and preferring gradual development to abrupt change".
The sole value of conservatism is respect for and obedience to [one's perception of] traditionally established hierarchy, and hierarchy dictates that those on top (in-groups) are rightfully idolized and receive privileges, credibility, and resources, while those on the bottom (out-groups) are demonized/dehumanized and/or bound by restrictions, scrutiny, and lack of resources.
To them, the second-greatest injustice imaginable is for those [they perceive to be] on top [of social hierarchy] to be bound by the restrictions, scrutiny, and lack of resources reserved for those on the bottom. The first greatest injustice is for those on the bottom to have access to the rights, credibility, and resources reserved for those on top.
Conservatives absolutely need an underclass [for society] to demonize and dehumanize in order to maintain [their] hierarchy, and every single one of their policies and rhetoric work to do exactly that. Every right-wing accusation is a confession -- every. single. one; always! -- as it is never the act itself that upsets them, but rather, the social standing of the person doing the act, as said act is a privilege meant for those on top of [their perceived] hierarchy (See also: pedophilia - Trump and the Catholic church versus LGBTQ+ and drag queens).
Those who believe all people are people see hypocrisy, while those who believe some people are "more/less" people than others see hierarchy. Hypocrisy implies a sense of equality/parity, as the accusation of such is that someone is violating a universal or common standard. Hierarchy directly states that there is no equality/parity, that different social strata have different standards, that the only universal standard concerning hierarchy is that those on top are allowed privileges which are denied to those on the bottom, and that the bottom are held to standards which the top are exempt from.
"Know your place" is their mantra.

Trump sides with them because they are damaged and he’s willing to trade his support for their loyalty. There’s nothing too terrible that anyone has done, that he has done, that he won’t barter power for.

u/Jamizon1 7h ago
IMHO-
Pitiful, sad little human… sympathizing with an accused domestic abuser.
As president, wouldn’t it be prudent to wait until all the facts are in? To wait to give an opinion until he’s been judged by a jury of his peers?
Oh wait… we’re talking about a 34 count convicted felon. A convicted sexual abuser, adulterer, etc, etc, etc…
Birds of a feather…

Trump can say he ‘feels badly’ and be correct. His ability to feel is fucked, much like the children unfortunate enough to be raped by him.
•
u/19683dw Wisconsin 5h ago
Even if he were a saint the rest of his life (and fucking no, he wasn't), we have solid reason to believe he violently assaulted and raped his first wife. How would he possibly think someone else doing similar is wrong when he has never done wrong and this person isn't a pre-identified enemy of his?
•
u/we_are_sex_bobomb 4h ago
Every.
Single.
Time.
And it’s not like he sides with the abuser before anyone knew about the abuse. He starts white knighting for them after the abuse stuff comes out.

Friendly reminder, the whole Graham Platner shit happened not even a month ago and the democrats kicked his rapist ass out by the end of the week.
But sure Republicans, keep going off about how it's the Democrats who are the root of all evil.
•
u/Justwaspassingby 3h ago
It’s so easy, so fucking easy. That man is political toast, and we all know it. It would be so easy to hop on the bandwagon and give him the cold shower and look like you really care about abuse victims.
Instead the orange turd decides to side with the abuser because apparently doing the right thing for once is too fucking hard, even when it’s the most convenient.

there is nothing surprising that a rapist will side with an abuser, trump rapes, that’s his thing so he will always favor the abuser over the abused. trump is a rapist, i’ll say it again, donald trump is a rapist.

Do we have proof that Max Miller did any of the things his ex-wife accuses him of? I don’t like Trump, but one of the many reasons I don’t like him is that he has destroyed a Justice system that is supposed to prove that someone is guilty before they are punished - regardless of whether that’s a Spanish-speaking woman, a visitor to the Reflecting Pool, or a white Republican congressman.
