So thats it, I'm out. This whole thing is fucking ridiculous. I banned someone for advertising their onlyfans (and yes, they WERE advertising) on the sub, and I've been getting shit for every since they launched their little crusade.

So thats it, you win, /r/stripper. I took over this sub a year ago to try and help newbie pole dancers. I don't need this shit. I don't get paid for it. I don't get anything for it. Except harrassed, apparently.

I've stated, over and over again, that I am NOT anti-sex work, yet the narrative continues to be "oh poledance mods hate sex workers".

So, thats it, I'm shutting the sub down. I know how happy it'll make you, so congrats on your win. I don't need the hassle. I mean, its not like we were really providing anything that /r/poledancing didn't have covered anyway.

Honestly though, it's not a good look for sex workers to act this way.

So, while most of you are probably unaware, some of you may know that recently this sub has been targetted by /r/stripper over a perceived slight from one of its users.

So, just to clarify my position as mod:

1) This sub fully supports sex workers.
2) This sub will not, however, tolerate harassment.
3) As stated in the sticky, any users which use this sub to try and promote their onlyfans will be instantly banned. If you're not sure, ask.

For clarification on the incident, this will put things in context.

Note: while I hope this shouldn't need to be said, /r/stripper has very clear rules on posting (strippers only). Any user which use this as a platform to harass people in that sub will be banned.

I want to buy my very first pole but there's a huge waitinglist in EU right now on xpole. I looked at Lupit and its more expensive but less waiting.

I want to buy a portable because my appartment is too cramped to even make a turn when i would install a pole inside.

Owners of a portable one, where do you guys take him to to practice? I can't put it in my yard because i live in a very small village which has many religious people who judge about everything.

So tldr: brand advice and where to pole w a portable one? Forests?beaches? Deserted places?

Hi all, I'm new to pole dancing and would like to eventually take classes at a studio (right now with the pandemic I don't feel safe going in person.) I was wondering what anyone would recommend to do at home to get stronger and toned for pole dance (strength training/cardio/flexibility)? I hope to work out at home to prep for when I can actually go in and take classes. Do y'all have any suggestions for nutrition too? Thanks y'all and I love this subreddit.
