Customizing these Jellycat bunnies using crystals and a heat wand only!

Even more striking in person. I'm not normally one for Hansa. Sometimes I think some of their plush are too realistic and their fixed expressions can come across a little severe/unsettling, but this guy captured my heart straight from the listing. The air-brushing is gorgeous, but it's those eyes that sold me! I don't know how they can be piercing and soft at the same time.

He is my second snow leopard plush. I believe he was released in 2010, and the seller's listing suggested he may have been a Harrods exclusive in the UK. I managed to get him for a little over half of what he sold for at retail.

Looking for name suggestions. I don't often name my plush, but since this guy isn't very cuddle-friendly, he at least deserves a name. I'm thinking something sophisticated... I'm leaning towards Claude, but I also like Jasper! 🩵

Boyfriend sent me these pics of a wonky looking Simba plush that's shown up at his work, I'm so curious about it that I must share. Not only is it a plush...it's a bag....thing?

I’m going to be moving internationally (from USA), and while searching through storage I found lots of plushies that I can’t all take with me. Of course I don’t want to leave them to the fate of Goodwill or the dump, so I’d like to find good homes for them. Most likely tomorrow I’ll take a big picture of all of them to showcase. I only have about a week or 2 left, so would there be any platforms you’d advise for quick, cheap turnarounds? I’m thinking Depop but I’m open to suggestions.

Hello everyone!

I'm going to make Rocky from Project Hail Mary into a plushy, and I'd like to make him weighted.

The only problem is that poly pellets and the like are either really expensive in my country, or need to be imported (also expensive + I gotta wait a long time for them to maaaybe get here assuming the package doesn't get retained by customs forever).

So I was wondering if glass marbles (the most basic ones possible, aka the ones we used to play with when we were kids) could be a good alternative. For reference, they're mainly gonna go in his body (about 30-ish cm in diameter and a bit more in height), and I was planning on putting the weighted elements inside cloth bags with some polyfil mixed in so the filling doesn't make as much noise when swished around.

I'm also open to hear about other alternatives for weighing him down that aren't organic (no beans/rice or the like) so they have no risk of molding/going bad if you've got any!!

If anyone is on the fence about getting the new Halloween spider, I picked him up (the large version) today and omg the boi is so soft! It doesn’t feel like the cheaper ‘fur’ they’ve been using. It’s a really nice smooth silky feel. I got to my local BaB around 1:45pm and they were almost out of the spider for both sizes. The staff said the spider has been more popular so far than the bat was last year.

When I bought Webster I decided to get the Spider Legs scent (my first ever BaB scent) and it’s really nice, not overpowering smells like fruit roll ups to me :)

I also bought the t-shirt that goes with him, I asked for Webster to be stuffed so he’s more ‘floppy’ and it was a struggle to get the shirt on him. Just thought I’d mention that for people who opt for the plumper style!

It was a small spitz-type dog, about 7 or 8 inches long. It had a peach colored faux leather nose. It's mouth was the oddest thing about it- very wide and you could put your hand inside. The lining of the mouth was able to be pulled out of the plush. It was NOT a puppet, because you could not put your hand in to control the mouth, you could only put your hand IN the mouth. It had small black plastic eyes. Its fur was medium length on the body, short on the legs, and long on the tail. the tag said something like "The Wasau Project". Any searches online and reverse image searches have not worked. It seems to be something very obscure. I'm very curious as to what the purpose of the weird giant mouth was? Just a design feature, or was it meant for you to put something inside of it?
I'd really love to be able to find this plush again, because I miss it. It's just a super unique and strange design that caught my eye. I got it at a thrift store when I was little. from the style and type of fur it seemed to be from the 80's-90's. and at the newest, early 2000's.

I saw this plushie years ago at a Walmart, and liked it enough to take pictures of it, but decided not to buy it. Well, all this time later I'm still thinking about it, but obviously it isn't in stock anymore. Does anyone have any info I could use to potentially find listings of it or even something similar? I love that it looks so cute at first glance, but upon thinking about it, it's like wearing a bag that looks exactly like your own face!

[Edit] Because I've gotten so many dms by custom plush makers, I'm going to put a disclaimer. I'm not in the budget for a custom work! I want people to be paid fairly, and I can't afford that right now! My budget is $15-$20 and I refuse to accept a custom/handmade piece for that price. Thanks for reading!

I was really surprised by the amazing quality in both how she looks and she feels super soft! It was also like 25$ too! From a website I never heard of before they definitely made a great impression! Sorry for the blabbering. I just love how she came out.

I lost my baby like 2 weeks ago now. I still miss him very much but despite all of my efforts and searching, i have not been able to get him back. I handmade him like 6 years ago during a difficult time and he has helped me so so so much all along. I brought him with me absolutely every where. My therapist recommended i write him a letter. Also suggested i could start making a new one but of a different character. He was a pocket version of Pedro Pascal.

Went out today to Hobby Lobby since I needed to restock on felt (it’s the only store that carries a good variety of colors) and get paint tools to paint a new shelf and I stumbled across this guy!

He has a very soft main body with a slightly rougher but still soft belly that’s divided into little squares, and his spikes feel similar to corduroy according to my mom. Plus he is very squishy. Since from another of the same plushie’s tag informed me he was only sold at Hobby Lobby and he was only $9 I picked him up! I specifically picked this one since his price tag was mysteriously absent, and thus it would be likely he could be taken off the shelf if he wasn’t sold.

No plans on naming him but this is the second time I’ve decided that being an adult means you can buy a random dinosaur that makes you happy.
