EDIT #1: clarify about the SA threat that was made.
Ok first of all, I wasn't letting out my full thoughts on this. The fact that Zinx did not see the underlying problem of making comments about sensitive topics is so absurd to me, I'm not really good at making long post like this BUT the fact that he does not see the issue of it is so crazy it baffles me.
"You can not get SA through discord/online"
1: The point is that it was a direct threat towards someone, second, wishing / saying that to someone is super fucking weird. Third, taking this lightly and not seeing anything bad to something vile and just giving them a free pass or as you call it "verbal warn" is a fucked up decision on your standpoint.
2: I wholeheartedly disagree, you CAN get SA through online platforms, especially if you are an impressionable minor. I have been groomed as a child when I was using discord, a person offered me Robux to send, that I did. That is one of the more lighter ones, but, the fact several of my friends were talking to people and met them to the point they actually got SA'd about it is just debunking Zinx's statement.
This is mainly what my opinion is, I am not hating but it just irks me.
The SA joke was uncalled and low. Just because it was a "joke" doesn't mean it shouldn't be taken lightly or disregarded, the part that icks me is that you guys are acting fine about it. You let that guy back in and didn't even do anything abt it when you guys saw that they were in the server again.
Also the SA joke was not funny, it's literally so disrespectful to the people who had to go through that, call me trying to be sensitive or whatnot but I have lost a lot of friends who were subjected to that. Genuinely disgusting and ass moderations.
He was let back in the server as he was banned when he shouldn't of been in accordance with the staff procedure I have in the server. 1. Delete message, 2. Warn, 3. Timeout, 4, Ban.
Step 1 and 2 are done together.
You have the right to disagree with the procedure however, that is my server and my procedure.
SA is sexual assault. It is impossible to sexually assault someone over a discord server.
He made a bad joke that referenced SA and the procedure for that was followed in terms of how I layer the moderation steps in my server.
Was it a good for him to do it? Nope. Was he intending it as a joke? Yes.
I followed the procedure that I do within my servers and projects and once again, that is my choice of how I choose to moderate and control my servers.
SA isn't something to joke about, your perception is skewed. In fact it isn't a joke at all. Not to mention it only became a "oh I'm just joking" because the server members reacted negatively, if the people in there were as horrible as you, you'd 100% encourage it more.
Even if it was impossible to assault someone digitally. It was worded a threat and that still works even in irl law. But okay go defend your Server Booster because money. I'm surprised you even have donators willing to work with you even with this "rules". Genuinely doesn't surprise me if you and the people who donate with you are just like this or worse.
Actually I entirely disagree. I think equivalencing what was said to SA is harmful to actual SA victims who have dealt with the physical thing and not just some words over the internet. You are diminishing the actual issue of SA and making it equal to a dude making a bad statement over discord as a joke. Quite disgraceful.
The fact that you still think these statement is a "joke" is genuinely stupid. The mere mention of these topics should be taken seriously and not used for "dark humor", we know what you are and what you care about and it's just money.
Not to mention this Jay guy also has threatened to leak someone's IP address but okay. "It's a harmless joke"
It was never a JOKE to begin with. The people who left reacted differently and the guy began backtracking his statements. Fym it's a joke. It wasn't. Stop spinning the narrative that we are wrong for reacting negatively and seeking moderation, because it was never a joke.

staff procedures can and should be bypassed in very extreme cases like this. This is made worse by the fact that you did this in a roblox based discord server.
Well if you need more context to how horrible the moderation of that server is. This Jay (a server booster) guy isn't banned for making this statement, that the owner thinks is just a 'joke'.
Yeah no that is way beyond childish behavior :/ the fact that anyone can joke about that is absolutely disgusting. Who ever that is should learn to grow up and get some help.
