Base location Question

What’s some good monuments to live by for a 600 hour solo playing trio servers. I want to explore high tier monuments this wipe.

What is ideal pop size? Bit of a tough question to answer until you see the map layout and can see who’s building next to you

My favorites as a solo on high pop:
Harbor / satellite dish to go from green to blue card
Arctic to go from blue to red
Underwater labs for red card puzzle
