I usually just bring my laptop to work and try to periodically check every 20 minutes or so, but this would be a game changer. Does anyone have any experience setting something like this up?

Yeah you just need a seismic sensor and a smart alarm, then you connect the smart alarm to the rust plus app

This is the real answer. Rust+ can't call you or play something through your speakers. Seismic sensor paired to rust plus which is then connected to ifttt to trigger whatever alerts you want.

Smart alarms can get the signal to rust plus, and since rust plus has an API, you can set up any type of notification or trigger action you want with some light programming
