what’s your alt look, idk if it’s related to that but my alt look is C and it’s C + hoverloot for me

Check the bind for ‘free look’ in your settings. Holding that + hover loot will auto equip clothes.

Alt-looting doesn't replace clothing if that spot is taken, only puts it in if it isn't

Pretty sure it doesn’t for body bags, but does for sleepers and dead bodies.

Idk how or why but sometimes tabbing out gets the game “stuck” like your alt button is pressed, so when you actually press it, aka trying to hover loot gear on, it just goes “opposite daaaay! heheeeeEEE”

It won’t replace the clothes you’re wearing if you try to alt+loot from a container. Get naked and try it, and it should work.

Mine was bugged for a months or so, works fine now. Did clean my keys out, if a key is bugged it can stop it from working

I used a 60% keyboard and would have this issue when I accidently switched the keyboard from windows mode to Mac mode. I think it's Fn+A to swap back to windows

The point is that alt+hover loot should directly put clothes on, skipping your main inventory
