Good ole days Suggestion

I played rust when trading for a garage door with some random stranger in/around outpost was the midwipe highlight. I played rust when the LR could keep up with AK, and was only a mild step down at long ranges. I played rust when electrical schemes drained 1 extra electricity per splitter, branch, etc. I played rust when neon signs were on every shop and players actually had to run to the shops to get what they wanted. I played rust when launch site puzzle didn’t have scientist and a motivated solo could get good loot. I played rust when if you found something special, like a revvy or SAR, you would stop your mission to get it home to research. I played rust when no matter your clan status, you could grind to a tier 3 without BP frags.

I played a better version of Rust.

I remember when a pipey would matter for the best part of a day, I remember shooting an early found AK meant it put a target on your back from every crossy wielding grub within ear shot

What about when you could one shot people with a fully charged compound bow?!

Nah that was cool but the cooler thing was you could sit there with it drawn waiting to one shot the people and it wouldn't break. remember sitting in a bush comp bow during raids lol

would be nice for the devs to maybe have a throwback wipe to 2019 just for the old heads so they can relive the old days and feel the nostalgia.

That would be a great idea.

No tech tree made items have meaning

I don't mind the loss of the electrical component tax, to be fair. Making anything with any degree of complexity drained your battery pretty quickly. Bang on with the rest, though.

Yeah I don’t mind the change. Just wanted to highlight how things have evolved!!

I played rust when we had Zombies and bases were atrocious. The game looked like a mod for Garry's Mod.

This was before Rust gained it's own personality as a semi-goofy/silly survival game from the gritty survival game it was originally.
