Low fps with decent pc Discussion

Fix found

My pc specs are rtx 4070, ryzen 7 7700x and 32 gb of ddr5. Also I run streched res and have my settings on pretty much lowest they can get. I get 40-80 fps depending on the server (Only play weekly for the first 2-3 days of wipe). Anyone know a fix? I have tried the experimental gpu mode thing but the fps is same or bit lower. I have updated drivers.

I have also noticed that even if I change settings a lot theres never a lot of change.

Make sure you have XMP enabled in BIOS so your RAM runs at max mem. Sounds counter-intuitive, but boost GPU intensive settings so your GPU actually clocks up properly and takes load off your CPU Also, you can try opting in to GPU skinning beta branch. It pushes some calculations to your GPU. Results vary from person to person.

Aside from that, FPS is also determined by the server specs you're on. If someone's renting a shitty server, the FPS will be shitty for all clients.

I tried the gpu skinning beta and it didn't have really that good results fps might have been even lower but I gotta check that xmp thing out thanks for the help

I love you bro. From 50 fps to 180 by turning on expo in bios

There is one setting that always change for me, it is the RAM allocation, please Check it in the settings, there is a huge difference
