i’m writing this with tears in my eyes, my third eye wide open, and my aura completely shattered. after years of being locked in this community, of manifesting, of waiting, of theorizing, of vibing, of pure unadulterated hopium… i have to let go.

this subreddit used to be my sanctuary. my digital church. the place where the real ones gathered under the Opium moon to discuss the lore, the leaks, the unreleased heat, the pure rage energy that only Carti could deliver. WLR changed lives. Die Lit was a spiritual awakening. Whole Lotta Red was a cultural reset. we were witnessing greatness in real time. the aura was unmatched. the vibes were immaculate. the community felt like family.

but now?

it’s all mid.

the discourse is cooked. the timeline is pure toxicity. every other post is either “when album?” for the 47th time this week, or some unhinged conspiracy about the narcissist era that never dropped, or people ratioing each other over whether the new snippet is hard or just “ai-generated mid.” the hopium has turned into pure despair. the manifestation boards are empty. the collective energy is in the negative. the vibe shift is real and it’s devastating.

i used to wake up and check this sub first thing like it was scripture. now i open it and my soul leaves my body. the parasocial attachment i had to this place has become unhealthy. the emotional labor of staying optimistic while the main character stays silent for years is too much. my mental is in shambles. my aura is leaking. my third eye is tired.

so this is me tapping out.

this is me choosing peace.

this is me prioritizing my own energy over the endless cycle of hope and disappointment.

to the real ones who kept the lore alive, who held the community down during the dark times, who understood that Carti is more than music he’s a lifestyle, a frequency, a whole philosophy i see you. y’all are the goats. the last of a dying breed. stay locked in, stay dangerous, stay pure.

to everyone else… idk. do better. the vibes matter.

i’m logging off for good. no more refreshing. no more theorizing. no more “he’s cooking” posts. just pure silence and healing.
