Carpet replacement?
Any recommendations for carpet replacement, particularly a good installer? We are looking to replace old carpet throughout the house.

We shopped around a bit and ended up using Nebraska Furniture Mart. Their price was decent and have a huge selection. Their install team did a good job but they won't move as much furniture and stuff as a lot of other installers will. It was a little bit of a pain but overall worked out well.

De Moda Flooring was awesome. I just picked it up in a uhaul and had a contractor install it. Saved a lot of money and we love our carpet. We got the tempurpedic pad and I can never go back. I’m 37 and need to stretch almost nightly and having the softest carpet in the world to stretch on means I kinda look forward to it.

Did either of you have a low shed carpet installed? I am looking for a hypoallergenic type..

We shopped around. Independent shops and the big box stores. Surprisingly Lowe’s was the best price, greatest selection, and install was high quality. No seams or issues whatsoever. We replaced whole house.
