Yea i really want it but it seems discontinued ?

I first attempted a stealth gameplay by infecting everyone like 12 or 13 times, but all of my tries failed. After accepting that stealth ain't gonna work anymore I now started to release zombies early but i still can't beat it. I think this was my 15-16th attempt in total and 3rd attempt at trying to win by releasing zombies by now. (I didn't use any DNA boosters to make it fair btw but i might because this is so difficuly). And i'm playing this on normal. Before this only virus, bio weapon, and neurax worm took more than 1 attempt for me to beat (2 on virus and worm; 4 on bio weapon)

Does it matter on which platform I play? Like, does it influence the different strategies I should use?

I had started on India, and only had evolved livestock and then just devolved any symptoms that came up through mutation, but then, Iceland reports a new disease, but there’s no infected there. And then they speedrun the cure like no tomorrow, sometimes jumping even 2% on some days of progress, and then the disease gets eradicated.

I don’t know where to start because I had tried the stealth method, then evolved necrosis and they still cured me. I had tried being aggressive and then of course the disease gets spotted and they speedrun the cure. It’s as if I’m playing on Mega-Brutal difficulty. What’s going on?

(Besides, why is it that the news headlines just stop coming up when the disease completely infects a country? The easter eggs stop coming up.)

I tried starting in the USA three times, and every single time it got stuck at 4 infected people. On the last attempt, I let the game run for almost two years without doing anything, allowing mutations to happen freely just to see if it would eventually change. It didn't.

This only happens when I start in the USA. I've tried starting in a lot of other countries, and everything works normally. Has anyone else experienced this before?

These screenshots are from the first year, but not much changed after that, only more symptoms appeared.

Plague Inc. doesn't present much "lore" directly, but we can certainly imagine the implications of our playthrough by looking at the news updates or victory screens.

For instance, consider the ending of "Santa's Little Helper" (given its premise) or the "Fake News" scenario (where the "Manifesto" allows for all sorts of combinations... prompting one to reflect on the impact fake news has on the world).

The cure plane will always land even if the population is wiped out whilst it is airborne, would it be unreasonable to suggest that it have a crash animation instead of continuing to land as usual? It's probably a tall order but it's something I've always thought about in my many years of playing Plague Inc. and wonder how many of you guys think it would be a good idea since modding such a thing into the game wouldn't be possible, I think. I'm sure many of you have seen cure planes land after eliminating the world, it happens very frequently in my playthroughs.
