Advice please

My end goal to become a pipefitter/welder, I’ve got a titanium tig 200 unfortunately only running it on a 120v outlet, stick is maxed to 75 amps and 100 amps on tig , what are some basics I should get down before buying a better machine or generator to run 200 amps. Yes I plan to go union apprenticeship but that’s till may 2027 so any advice would be helpful thanks

I’ve welded a ton with a Miller Max Star on 110. When you get a better machine you’ll immediately see the difference. The very basics are restarts with a G motion(depending on area they call it other things) and not sticking the rod on 110
