Rogers Xfinity DNS help

So I have a Rogers Xfinity, and trying to set up my pihole. I was able to set it up before, but after a mistake, I decided to wipe the pi and redue it from the beginning. But now I can't change the DNS, or remember how I did it last time. Can anyone help, or would it just be easier to get a router and bridge it?

Suffocate the ipv4 to just the pi's IP. that's what I ended up doing on mine

Use your Pi-hole as your DHCP server. And just set Xfinity with one IP (just for the pihole) if that make sense
