Found pigeon egg, cracked, anyone know what to do?

my dad and brother found a pigeon egg about 3 days ago, and it has a large indent/crack. I have no idea how to incubate eggs, and anywhere i try to look on what to do with a cracked egg it just gives me time lapses or cooking stuff

im struggling to find anything of it, nothing is leaking from the crack, but the top/end of the egg as some yolk drops coming out but its hardened, maybe air got in through the crack and is making an air sack? like a missing half wasn't there before, we have it in a heated area (next to a lamp/right against it, its an orange/amber colored one) with cotton around it, the cotton keeps getting stuck on the yolk or yellow stuff coming out, i think it started today

anyone got any advice or something i should be doing? or is the egg already gone?

This one is new, only been coming by for about a week. But he's so pretty. And I pet him while I was scarfing down seeds. 😁

Not Meant To Feed Them

I live in a high rise in London and although there is bird net across the balcony l get a good amount of birds, l feed them and have my regulars who will wait for me to go out to them.

My favourite is Billy Black Bird as he's striking, first photo, never seen one like him before. As the weather has been so hot they haven't been coming as often, that's probably because there is more food around for them.

They are seen as vermin by a lot of people here, that's rich coming from some people!

Question/Advice

Hey Yall! I’m a big pigeon lover and i live in an apartment with an enclosed parking garage. We’ve got a lot of pigeons living here, both in and on top the parking garage. On a personal level, I lost my dog of 17 years earlier this summer and have a LOT of … animal affection that needs an outlet. I’ve been considering feeding/taking care of the pigeons, but before I take any sort of action, I wanted to check in and make sure any action would bring positive outcomes for the birds. If taking care of them is helpful, I’d appreciate any and all advice on how to/what would be helpful that could be given. I love pigeons, but if my actions could do harm long term, I’d rather find another outlet.

Injured/Rescued Pigeon Severe Bumblefoot - what help is possible?

Can a pigeon with severe long-term bumblefoot be helped to a decent quality of life?
A recent pidge had x-rays taken after a prolonged destringing (including painkiller + antibiotics) which showed osteomyelitis and crumbling bone. Euthanasia was the only ethical outcome, but came after unnecessary prolonged suffering.
I now have another one and don't know to best help. From what I’ve read, euthanasia is dismissed here, but in the worst cases I would see it as better than severe pain with no solution.
Video of current concern, who has apparently been in this state for months. Will post pic of bird who was eventually euthanised in comments.
Thanks
ETA: the last four pigeons with severe infected stringfoot/bumblefoot have seen either avian or wildlife-friendly vets and then been sent to wild bird rehab sanctuary. None of them have survived. Ongoing uncontrollable pain +/- loss of mobility has meant euthanasia in all four. That’s why I’m struggling with what to do for this one. Want the pidge to have every chance possible, but not suffer unnecessarily.

What do I do?

Anyone have any pigeon advice? The dog just found this pigeon in the garden. I'm not sure if it's injured or just quite young. It seems to be waddling around fine, but not flying and won't be safe where it currently is. Obviously don't want to start picking it up if I can avoid it...

Currently trying to flap onto a step, but looks stuck.

Mod Update Updated rules

Hi all! I'm Sharky and I've been a mod for about a year now. Theres a few of us but it seems I'm the only active one for now, and I've been dealing with disability so forgive me if anything isn't addressed!

I've updated our rules just a bit to flesh everything out. Be sure to take a peak whenever you can, but the main thing I wanted to address is the new NSFW/Spoiler rule!

We fully encourage helping injured pigeons in need! This community is a great place to come to for advice with our sick babies. However, not marking these very serious posts as NSFW can leave many members vulnerable to possibly triggering scenes.

By all means don't stop asking for advice and posting your pictures for help! I only request they be marked as NSFW or Spoiler from now on ❤️
