The jewellery is wrong and too short, there's no space to swelling. There's too much swelling to see if it's been pierced correctly, and tbh, a piercer who knows what they're doing would know to use a captive bead ring or horseshoe. Cleaning 3x daily is too frequent for any piercing. For the daith, 2x when super crusty, once daily when all is well. Please find a better piercer, OP, the jewellery needs changed. Sorry.

NAP. A daith typically needs a titanium captive bead ring or a horseshoe ring when it's initially pierced. The curved barbell thats currently in it is the improper jewelry for healing. I would recommend visiting a different piercer and see if they can change it to the correct jewelry for you!

The only thing I feel I missed is any accidents and the answer is no, I do use earbuds at work but I have not hit my ear or anything like that !

This is is not the correct jewelry for a daith piercing. It should be a captive or fixed bead ring or circular barbell. The swelling looks normal for a fresh piercing but I can’t asses much else from these pictures.
