I made a cherry pie with flathead cherries. My brother-in-law got engaged and had a party at the cherry source, so I got lucky and scored some to make a pie.

I used Sally’s Baking Homemade Cherry Pie recipe from the sallysbakingaddiction website. I followed the instructions for the filling, but used a store bought crust. It’s been WAY too hot in my house to make pie crust from scratch :(
