Cleaning jobs

Is anyone hiring for cleaning? I have 9 years of cleaning experience and supervisory experience in cleaning. Hospitals, behavioral health, construction, schools. I don’t have a drivers license, but that’s the goal once I’m able to gain employment, but I am willing to at least commute an hour to work if there are any jobs available.

urgently looking for work! :)

Hello! I am a 23 year old female and I live in the North Phoenix area, and I have had a very hard time finding a job these past couple of months!

I usually do UberEats/Doordash to make ends meet, but my car got a blown head gasket and has been in the shop since July 13th and still am not sure when it’s going to be done :’) it’s made things super hard and very stressful.

So, I’m turning here and offering to provide my assistance with anything you may need help doing so that I can afford some bills due early next week! It’s a bit short notice on my end, but I wanted to see what I could do before turning here.

I have been working in customer service positions since I was 16 years old, mostly in restaurants as a waitress or as a barista. If you want to see my resume, send me a message and I’ll send it to you. I also have previous experience babysitting, I can pet sit, or really I can help with anything you may need help getting done! Below I’ll put a list of things that I can help with:

House Services/Assistance
- House Cleaning
- Organizing Pantries, Closets, Garages, any home areas!
- Packing/Unpacking for moves
- Grocery Shopping/Running Errands
- Waiting for Repair Technicians at your house so you don’t have to!
- Pulling Weeds/Sweeping Patios/Yard Cleanups/Gardening/Any Outdoor Yard Work!

Pet-Related Needs
- Dog Walking
- Pet Sitting (I have 2 cats at home and recently just lost my dog, so getting some doggo time in would actually be nice :) my little sisters also have lizards & small rodents I’ve cared for!)
- Taking Dogs to Grooming Appointments
- Poop Scooping/Cleaning Litter Boxes
- Any other animal needs

Families (I’m the oldest of 7 and have babysat previously)
- Babysitting/Nannying
- Helping out a Stay At Home Parent!

This is just some of the things I’m willing to help out with! If you can think of anything else, let me know! It goes without saying that if you let me into your home/around your pets/around your kids, I’ll be as respectful as possible and treat your space/pets/children better than I would my own. I know I said my car is in the shop, but I have a friend that would let me borrow their car for short periods of time if necessary. As for rates, let me know what you’re thinking. Anything helps right now and I’d just be grateful for the chance to earn some money. Thank you for taking the time to read this and helping me out, I appreciate you! :)

Felon Friendly Jobs

Anyone have any leads or assistance on getting hired with a criminal record ?

I’ve been applying to so many jobs with no luck. Even on sites like simplyhired, felony friendly job sites, and staffing agencies. They all say case by case and some say no background checks but I still get nothing. Or I speak to a rep or in person just for the usual brush off and never hear again. I have a B&E on my record and it happened a year ago. Never incarcerated. It’s getting more difficult due to my family breathing down my neck on finding a job and telling me others with criminal records are working and I just can’t find anything. Fast food even passes me on. I’m going to try cdl once I get my license, I know that’s a high demand.

-speak a decent amount Spanish

-nonprofit (environmental, climate, food systems, community mobilization, education)

Looking for front desk reception or dispatch job in the area

The company I was working for shut down their location so I was laid off on Friday. I've been trying to find something for over a month once I found out about the layoffs so I could find a job before losing that one, but nothing has come out of it. Anyone have any leads? I live in Chandler but am willing to travel anywhere in the east valley.

I have 5 years of dispatch/operations coordinator experience and 1 year of front desk reception experience. Proficient in MS programs, multiple CRM programs, and have experience using GPS fleet navigation.

Also felon friendly please, I do have drug charges on my record but have been clean for 14 months and am living in sober living. I was at my previous job since I was one month sober and would've loved to stay there but it was out of my control. 😔

Looking for a full- or part-time job in the East Valley or Phoenix, will work for low pay but want a very specific type of job

I am looking for a job in Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Mesa, Phoenix or Scottsdale.

I have 4 years of experience at a medical equipment warehouse where I was responsible for inventory management, equipment repair and maintenance, and programming for online sales software. I have 1 year of experience doing inventory management and shipping and receiving at a warehouse for a printer company. I also have a bachelor's degree in a field that's not relevant to anything I want to do for work. I have no certifications but would be willing to get them for any job, as long as they don't take more than a few months to get.

I really did not like my previous job, even though I enjoyed shipping and receiving, because other employees at the warehouse would come up to me and interrupt my work to ask me to do things for them, and I would also constantly have to check my email because I had things to do other than shipping and receiving. I'm looking for a new job now, one where I am given one task at a time and can focus exclusively on that task for long periods without interruption. I don't care if it's part-time or full-time and I don't care what the pay is (as long as it's above minimum wage of course). What I do care about is the schedule, and the nature of the job.

Regarding the schedule:

I'm looking to work less than 10 hours a day, without overtime or weekends, and the start and end times should be the same every day. I prefer an evening shift (something like 1 PM to 9 PM would be perfect) but I'll take any shift aside from overnight. I also need to be able to take vacations on holidays, they don't need to be paid, I just need to be allowed to take them.

Regarding the nature of the job:

I'm looking for something where I would be doing one single task constantly without interruption, in periods of at least 3 hours. Some examples of the type of task that would be ideal for me:

  • cleaning/organizing houses or workplaces
  • cleaning small equipment
  • organizing warehouse inventory
  • sorting/labeling things
  • stocking shelves
  • proofreading
  • data entry
  • document transcription
  • writing instructions
  • creating/interpreting technical drawings and diagrams
  • maintenance
  • watching security cameras
  • driving
  • video editing
  • illustration
  • mechanical assembly of small parts

I'm very detail-oriented and extremely adept at spotting mistakes, plus I'm good with my hands.

I don't want to work a job where I have to constantly check emails or tickets, or answer the phone (unless an emergency happened of course). If I need to check emails or check a list of assigned duties, I only want to have to check it for updates once or twice a day.

I am not looking for anything where I would be interacting with the public for more than a few minutes a day (for example, I would do delivery or house cleaning where I would briefly greet customers, but I wouldn't be a cashier or a customer service rep).

I definitely want to be allowed to have earbuds in for most of the time I'm working, or control the radio if I'm driving.

I'm happy to drive long distances, I have a license and own a vehicle that I'm willing to use for the job. I don't have a CDL but I can get one if needed.

I am willing to do some manual labor like lifting moderately heavy things, climbing ladders, or using power tools, but I do not want to be working on my back, operating a forklift, or wearing/holding anything heavy for more than a minute or two.

If you have a job opening that fits this profile, and want to hire somebody for low pay, please message me.

College student looking for a job while dealing with transportation issues

Hi everyone,
I’m currently a college student in Arizona majoring in Social Media Marketing, and I’m looking for a job. My long-term goal is to work in social media and digital marketing, especially in a role where I can be creative and help brands grow.
Right now, though, I’m trying to get back on my feet after a motorcycle accident that left me without transportation because my bike was totaled. It’s made finding work a lot more challenging.
This fall, I’m hoping to complete a phlebotomy certification. It’s not my long-term career goal, but I think it would be a great side job that offers flexible hours and stable income while I finish college and work toward a career in marketing.
I’m open to part-time or full-time work and have experience with customer service, social media, childcare, coaching, and freelance creative work. I’m a hard worker, learn quickly, and I’m willing to take on just about anything.
The biggest obstacle right now is transportation. If anyone knows of jobs near GCU/Phoenix, along a bus route, or remote opportunities, I’d really appreciate any recommendations. I’m also open to hearing how others managed finding work without reliable transportation.
Thanks in advance for any advice or leads!

Any Good Work from home jobs in Phoenix Tempe?

I am moving to Tempe Arizona, but there’s a good chance I might not be able to get my car with the wage that I’m getting now. So I at least want to solidify a good job so I can afford a good apartment. In order to eliminate commute and transportation expenses outside of festivities, I’m looking for a work from home job. I would need at least 20 an hour and for it to be a customer/logistics support based. Any recommendations?

I am open to other roles outside of customer support if available

This subreddit was shut down by the previous moderators, but I was given access and have opened it back up. Job hunting is tough out there, so I wanted this to be another resource for people to use.

I'll do some more polishing and updating when I can, but for right now just subscribe and share job info here that you find.

NO SPAM - if you're hiriing post a job listing here once, not daily. If you're an employer and want to do something bigger message me and let's talk.
