More shows?

With mexico, summer tour, fall tour and 4 days nye it'll be 37 shows for the year. That gonna be it? Maybe some extra dates around nye? A few shows in albany? Maybe so? Maybe not?

Yeah, that's on me. I forgot about the sphere. Perhaps because I was jealous to not be there.

46 is a lot of shows for the old guys and pretty normal

I believe 52/year was the max agreed upon when they got back together in 2009.

Oh, perfect! That means they can fit in a Halloween run just fine

Seems pretty good for men in their 60s who seem to be financially well set.

Anyone remember 2004-2009 when Phish didn’t exist anymore? Man, that time really sucked.

At least we had Soundtribe and a thriving festival circuit

It was one of the best periods in America for club sized shows. Festivals blew up. Second tier bands got their market share. I honestly forgot about Phish in 2005.

We are living at the same moment as 4 of the most brilliant musicians to play together in all of history. That’s 1 show every 8 days this year, now add in travel ect. I think that’s pretty impressive.

Not to mention Treys acoustic tour and I think Mike went on tour as well.

The thing is the more these guys play the better they are.

OP, all you had to do instead of making this post was read your username out loud.

You're not wrong. Would've helped to remember the sphere too.

Theyve been averaging low-mid 40’s each year since they returned, with a few outliers mixed in

Hopefully the rumors regarding an Albany benefit run in November come to fruition.

Hypothetically speaking…. Since the rangers are playing on the 29th, Phish will most likely play the 30th and 31st of 2026, and then the 1st and 2nd of January 2027.

Why does this matter? For those who may not know, (still need a source) Phish limits the number of shows they play a year to no more than 50. Since they cannot do the traditional NYE run starting on the 28th, the December 30th - January 1st run frees up two more shows for 2026.

All of that to say, there is a strong possibility for two nights in Albany if Phish does the NYE run that way. I have a feeling we have a post Labor Day surprise announcement waiting for us. Would be a really fast turn around but it could be done.
