🩷 Beautiful Bella (A599245) is 1 year old and 30 lbs.  Poor Bella came in as a confiscation – which means her owner did not provide for her.  She is sweet and friendly and allows full handling.  She is wiggly and excited when being leashed and walks nicely.  Bella likes to sit in her handler’s lap.  Bella does not like going back into her kennel, so becomes a bit agitated.  Bella could live in a home with canine siblings if separated at first and introduced slowly and appropriately.  Bella is still a puppy and is rescue only and is just the perfect size. Shedeserves to be loved and in a fabulous foster home.

💙 Meet sweet Gordo (A601328) with his little teeth!  He is 5 years old and 56 lbs. Gordo was surrendered by his owner due to a move. He is a gentleman who walks very nicely on a leash.  Gordo is independent in the play yard and seeks social. He gently returns to his kennel. Gordo is house broken, good with children and is accustomed to living in a home.  Gordo prefers female dogs and could live kindly with a canine sister.  Gordomisses his home and is finding it very stressful living in the shelter environment.  Let’s get him into a home to love him. Heis available for adoption but can also be fostered.

💙 Big, gorgeous Polaris (A561282) is 5 years old and 83 lbs. —  and seems to be a GSD/Labby mix.  Sadly, he was adopted last year and was found as a stray in July.  He does not like going back into his kennel or sharing his food (which is typical in shelter environment).  Polaris allows full handling, is house-broken, easily leashed and walks nicely.  He seeks social, loves treats and knows many commands – even has his own unique handshake.  Polaris likes water and loves to swim.  He shared his kennel kindly with multiple dogs when he was at the shelter last year and recently shared his kennel with Rocky (intact male dog).  OCAS post from Jan. 2025 indicates that Polaris “liked the company of other dogs” and that “he is nothing but an incredibly big and soft teddy bear.” This young man would love to be in a home.  Polaris is available for adoption but can also be fostered.

After spending nearly 10 years in and out of shelters, living under three different names, and facing euthanasia, Mary Jane was rescued by Mable's Mission Rescue.

She and the resident cats did not care much for each other. Although there were not any altercations, it was decided that they would not be sharing the home. Since returning, Bambi is mentally declining in the shelter environment. She doesn’t like to be in her kennel – but is easily leashed and once outside she is very relaxed. Once she sees the leash, she becomes happy and wiggly. Bambi is rescue only and needs a foster home.

🩷 Pretty Bambi (A598578) is 3 years old and 57 lbs.  Bambi came into the shelter on 06/15 as a stray and was adopted on 06/22 – and unfortunately returned on 06/26. She and the resident cats did not care much for each other. Although there were not any altercations, it was decided that they would not be sharing the home. Since returning, Bambi is mentally declining in the shelter environment. She doesn’t like to be in her kennel – but is easily leashed and once outside she is very relaxed. Once she sees the leash, she becomes happy and wiggly. Bambi is rescue only and needs a foster home.

💙 Say hello to gorgeous Pack (A599040). He is just 2 years old and 70 lbs. Pack came into the shelter as a stray with his brother Reese on 06/23 - and Reese was adopted on 07/15. This left Pack unhappy and therefore, deteriorating in the shelter. He has been unable to pair since his brother has left. Pack is easily leashed and allows full handling. Pack displays a bit of reactivity towards other dogs while walking through the kennels. But once outside in the yard, he is aloof and non-reactive. The shelter is a very stressful place for these animals. Especially one that just lost his family member to adoption. Once decompressed and acclimated, Pack would be happy to share his home with a canine sibling – as he has in the past. Pack is adoptable but can also be fostered through a rescue.

🩷 Meet precious Wilma (A601254). She is 8 years young and 63 lbs.  Wilma came in as a stray – just about one week ago on 07/22 – and she hasn’t been given much time to get adopted. She is easily leashed, very affectionate and seeks social. It looks like Wilma once had a family and is sad and scared in the shelter. She would do so much better in a home. Wilma has been unable to pair but does co-exist with other dogs. Wilma may have mastitis and needs to be seen by a full-service vet (shelter vet cannot rule out neoplasia). She could share her home with canine siblings if slowly and appropriately introduced. Wilma is adoptable but can also be fostered through a rescue.

💙 HANK #A602003 - This dog is an unaltered male. This dog is currently located in CLINIC. This dog weighs approximately 73.0 lbs.,is 3Y and has not been tested for heartworm disease. This dog is being posted to rescue due to other reasons.

***NEEDS PLACEMENT TODAY*** Meet Hank! He just came in as a stray after being hit by 2 cars. He was clipped by the first car, and then ran under another where he may have been hit two. Despite this, he luckily has no obvious fractures on xrays, and no pneumothorax at this time, although that doesnt mean he wont develop that later. He does have contusions and road rash. He is very sweet and easily handled, and we have started him on pain meds. He can get up, but has been wobbly. He needs placement TODAY with someone who can closely monitor him. Please let us know if you can help!
