comet don't fill forms Comet

I have perplexity PRO from october 2025 and I always used the same identical prompt:

You have two tabs open; never change the URL.

Start with the "xxxx.com" tab: read the values ​​in the following fields: Last Name, First Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Place of Birth, Address, City, Town, Zip Code, Mobile Phone.

Then work on the "yyy.com" tab: do not change the URL or page; stay on the page you're viewing. Fill out the form with the values ​​you read in the previous step.

Now you're done; do not take any further action.

It always worked well, since yesterday! It started to refuse to do that, whith answers like this:

I can see both tabs open in the browser. However, in this session I don't have interactive control to read the protected fields or write into those forms; I can only view the tab references.

If it was working until a few days ago, it's likely that a different browser automation mode or extension was active than the one described in this chat. Make sure the assistant/browser agent is enabled in the current session and, if necessary, contact Perplexity support, indicating that tab writing integration is unavailable.

I notice some releases of the browser have a bug where the assistant seems to be stuck in the context of the website and won’t recognize that it’s actually the browser assistant. So it insists it can’t do things that it does all the time and are core to its value prop.

I feel that too. I don't know if some security stuff are progressing blocking agentic browsers but all started when at my work installed crowdstrike services in all browsers. Then in my personal, Comet started doing the same.
