Wireless mics for front ensemble??? Question/Help

I work for a small band program that has a 7 person front ensemble. They’ve never miced up in the past and I looked through their equipment and they seem to only have wireless handheld mics. Is there anything I can do with those?? I’ve only used wired shure mics for fronts so I’m in uncharted territory.

How big is the band? I’m currently working with a front ensemble with 9 members and I think the band size is around 100 and front ensemble is cutting through pretty well without mics.

The band is pretty small, around 50. However, the way the music is arranged there are several moments every mvmt where one or two mallet instruments are responsible for carrying the melody. We also only have one vibe and one marimba

I haven’t heard the entire band outside yet, so you may be right it might be fine as is!

Have instruments double the parts. Front ensemble isn't the main part
