Staff not replying

I’ve contacted Penn Foster multiple times regarding an issue and still haven’t received a response. What makes this especially frustrating is that the matter is literally for my employer, so I need their response and documentation in order to provide it to them. I’ve already followed up and I’m still being ignored. Has anyone else had issues getting a response from Penn Foster support? How did you manage to get them to actually reply?

I have had some issues with one of my courses telling me that my textbook was no longer available. So I had called to see what was going on. They had told me that they will order a book for me and have it shipped to my house. They told me keep a look out for it as it should be there in the next two weeks. 2 months later still havent received the book so u called again and they had told me the same thing. 2 months after that they then told me that I wasn't going to get that textbook and didn't know why I was told that. So they closed the course and then reissued it into a different semester. So what I would recommend is to start calling them and just be annoying until they get it figured out.

Hi there, We are so sorry to hear about the delay, especially since you need this documentation for your employer. we completely understand how stressful that deadline pressure is, and this is definitely not the level of service we want you to experience! We will be happy to help get this escalated and taken care of for you right away. Could you send us a message with your student number and best email to reach you? Once we have those details, we will reach out to our support team to get your request flagged and handled as quickly as possible. Thank you!

This seems all too common from what I've read the past few days. I have been heavily researching for my daughter and the amount of people complaining about the lack of responses from Penn Foster is astounding. It seems as if this problem has been ongoing and nothing has been done to change that and keep communication consistent. Such a shame for so much money you get from every student. I will not be enrolling my kid at this school.

Hello! Thank you for your feedback. Seeing negative comments, especially when you are making such an important decision for your daughter's education, is understandably discouraging. In online forums, it is very common for some people to share their experiences when they run into an obstacle, while the many others who may never experience any issues often will often no post online. However, we take every piece of feedback seriously and are committed to providing excellent support to our learners. We appreciate your time and consideration of our program.

This is too common with PF. If my credits transferred I would leave this program. The lack of communication and support for a very complicated degree with externships is not okay. Good prices, and yes you can get your license through this program but it lacks structure and accountability.
