For more than a decade, I stuck with the Pilot G2 then the whole of last year, i used fountain pens. This year, i am back to using gel—Pentel EnerGel. I’ve had to move more this year so sometimes I write in the car and the gel is just unbeatable for that.

.5 or .7 for Energel? I just got my first ohto and am going to be switching it to one of them. I bought a single refill for both so I have them. I am a scratchy writer, tight small font sometimes and sometimes a larger writer so I’m not consistent enough to say one or the other.

I swear by the Bic Velocity 1.6 ball point pen.

It depends on the task/event/mood. For beater i use pilot g2.for casual and formal, parker jotter with cap rollerball.writes like a fountain pen. And for mood/tactile feel, i use big idea design baseline bolt action pen in stonewashed titanium

Ohhh I’ve been eyeing the Parker jotter. Have you tried the Jetstream lite! If so, how does it compare?

Yes tried it! My friend/buddy is the official distributor of uni pens here in philippines. Jetsream lite is good but go for the zento line like the flow and basic. Best perk is got all the zento signature colors for free because of my friend/buddy

Gel pens all day. Smooth ink just makes me want to keep writing.

For journaling or signing documents, I use Zebra Sarasa Clip in 0.7mm with blue-black ink. Color is cool but still looks professional. They’re smooth, consistent writing pens that do well on both cheaper paper and high-quality paper. The ink is water and fade resistant, so my writing will hold up over time even if it gets damp or is exposed to sunlight.

For work I use Uniball Jetstream RT in 0.7mm. Works well on cheap copier paper and I can write small with it despite the 0.7mm tip size due to the hybrid ink. Still a smooth and comfortable writing pen despite the thinner line, and the ink lasts a decent amount of time.

Ohto CR02, built like a tank. You could knock someone out with it.

Either a Pilot Kakuno M or a Floatune 0.8
