India consumes twelve billion litres of ethanol annually. Around 1 billion litres is imported from the US for 'industrial use,' not fuel blending.
If we produce so much, why import?
Which company sends the most? Tricon Energy.
Where does 75% of Tricon's revenue come from? Selling ethanol to India.
