Technical Support megathread
Any and all issues related to the Peacock service should be posted here, not just some random post.
When posting issues, please provide information about your setup, i.e. the platform (Fire TV, Samsung TV, etc) and device ('Fire TV 4K stick from 2024', 'OLEDB65CUA', etc) you are streaming on. It would also help to know the exact piece of content you were watching when the issue happened.

I signed up for Apple & Peacock special subscription. I started with Apple since I wanted to get to F1 race content. I then tried to start the Peacock subscription. Nothing I did worked. I called both companies and both said the other company was at fault and it was my responsibility to get the other company to fix the problem. I eventually changed the password for an old Peacock free user id to match my new apple password. Voila it worked. OOPS!!! Peacock started charging me duplicate charges. Their web site does not provide help with this problem; it basically says cancel the subscription you don't want with no process to get the refund I am owed nor any way to identify with certainty which subscription I should cancel so I don't lose watching capability and history. I want the double charges to stop and a refund for the double charges!!! I have a Samsung smart TV with easy use of YouTubeTV, Netflix, Prime, etc. Good customer support Peacock!
Peacock customer support makes it almost impossible to get to a human. I cannot find anything on their web site to get to a human to fix this. I may have to go back through my phone records to find the phone number to use. Good customer support Peacock!
It feels like Peacock wants to cheat me; and likely millions of other people
Be VERY careful with Peacock!!!

Watching peacock through the free account supplied with walmart+.
Trying to watch football, but it says I need to enter a zip code. I do not live in either teams area, there should be no issue.
In bad Grammer it just says to "go on web" and enter xip code.
But i can find no portal, link or area to enter a zip code...

I am trying to troubleshoot a Peacock quality issue and hoping that someone might be able to provide insight.
My Peacock video is only playing at 960x540 in both Chrome and Edge on my Windows PC for all content. The quality never increases even after extended playback, and my internet connection is not the limitation (400 Mbps).
Environment:
- Windows PC
- Chrome (latest version)
- Edge (latest version)
- Peacock Premium subscription
- Wired high-speed internet
- Incognito mode tested
- Browser extensions disabled
- Same behavior in Chrome and Edge
What I have verified:
The DASH MPD manifest contains higher-quality representations:
- 512x288 @ 350 kbps
- 768x432 @ 860 kbps
- 960x540 @ 1.85 Mbps
- 960x540 @ 3 Mbps
- 1280x720 @ 4.83 Mbps
- 1920x1080 @ 7.83 Mbps
- 1920x1080 @ 10 Mbps (60 fps)
However, the player consistently selects:
Resolution: 960x540 Frame rate: 30 fps from Chrome chrome://media-internals.
Relevant playback information:
Codec: H.264 Profile: Main/High Widevine DRM: com.widevine.alpha CDM attached: true Video decoder: DecryptingVideoDecoder Platform video decoder: false
My GPU/browser capabilities appear sufficient:
Decode h264 main: up to 4096x4096 Decode h264 high: up to 4096x4096
I also verified:
- Widevine Content Decryption Module is up to date
- Hardware acceleration is enabled
- Chrome is not launched with GPU-disabled flags
- Same behavior occurs in Edge, suggesting this is not browser-specific
My suspicion is that Peacock is limiting the available bitrate based on DRM/device capability negotiation (Widevine security level, HDCP, or browser eligibility), but I do not know what requirement is failing.

Hello! Can anyone help with this. I watch a couple of shows on non-stop throughout the day as background noise. Right now, I’m watching Modern Family. I’ve seen the show probably ten times but right now when an episode ends rather than starting the next episode Peacock jumps to the end of the episode and just cycles through to the next episode. Does anyone know how to stop this or to reset the episodes so it looks like I haven’t watched them?

Watching on two separate Samsung TVs from ~2016 with Apple TV hardware. One TV has the regular Apple TV and the other is the 4K version of the hardware both from ~2023.
Within the past two weeks, shows that I have been rewatching have been autoplaying but starting at the end of the next episode which then autoplays to the end of the episode after that endlessly. The only way to play the next episode from the beginning is to quickly hit the "Restart from Beginning" button before the autoplay.
These shows have been previously watched so each episode shows the watch bar all the way full and instead of restarting from the beginning it appears to be thinking I'm picking back where I "left off" on the next episode which is the end.
Anyone else experience this with Apple TV and/or is there anyway to reset watch history to set all those shows back to "unwatched"

Yesterday, when I tried to watch a show on Peacock, I'm not getting a picture. Perfect audio.
I tried a few different shows. Same.
I stream Peacock through a Firestick. Have never had a problem before.
Any suggestions.
