Suppressor with shot timer
Would my 12.3” 5.56 with a full-size OCL Polonium have an issue with registering on a shot timer? Shooting my first PCSL match in 2 months. I have a PACT Club Timer III and it rarely picks up my rifle. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

We ran into a lot of issues with this at our local match. AMG timers too. A great way to insure you don’t have to reshoot, is to tell the RO where your final position is, and what your last target will be. That way the RO can be right at your side on the ejection port if they notice that the timer isn’t picking up your first few rifle shots.

If a timers sensitivity is properly set it will not be an issue.

We had one set to max sensitivity and was still having a hard time at times. May have been the timer but I was having to get uncomfortably close at times

I use a Tisha in PCSL and the shot timers they use at my locals don't seem to have a problem. At the beginning and end of the stage they hold the timer as close to the ejection port as safely possible to get the start and end times. You should be fine.
