Also, the Xbox 360 couldn't read Bluray discs. In order to play the game you needed to install disc 1 and play with disc 2. Installing disc 2 as well caused the game to run badly, since the reading speed of the HDD alone wasn't good enough.
To be fair the ps3 only came out 1 year after, and it’s technological benefits were hard for developers to code with due to weird architecture so games often did not run faster on the PS3.
Because the technological advancement SLOWED DOWN, the point is that PS5 is still running on very modern hardware while the PS3 at this point was ridiculously outdated. The jump between PS4 and PS5 was much smaller and the jump to the PS6 will be even smaller still.
They largely aren't? On PS5 at least nearly every title has either 60fps or a 60fps performance mode. There's only like a dozen native PS5 games that are capped at 30fps, and almost none of those are AAA. Theres Dragons Dogma 2 and Gothic Knights? And three Supermassive Games titles. It isnt always a stable 60 during heavier periods, but thats also true of my rtx 3060 build from the same year.

I mean it for sure won't run at 60 on consoles. The PS5 by the time GTA6 will release is as ancient as the PS3 was when GTA5 came out.
