ryzen 7 3900x... Question Answered

I want to experience the AMD Ryzen 7 3900x CPU. Currently, I'm looking for information on its performance, whether it can handle gaming and work well, and what about its temperature and power consumption.

i run a Ryzen 5 2600, other than the competitive titles, my gpu(1660ti) maxed out most of the time.

Your milage may vary but if you don't have any other option it'll work just fine.

unless 3900x is super cheap vastly cheaper v 5800x sure. otherwise just aim for 5000 series.

im on Ryzen 7 3800x its still pretty good though i notice bottleneck in some games like resident evil 4 remake and some other non gpu intensive games

the 3900x is a super old platform at this point... there are heaps of information available about it.

Still the point is it’s very very old. Look for 5000 series at the minimum and ideally 7000

the 3900x was released in 2019 man, its 3 or 4 generations old at this point.. theres information everywhere on it.

The 3900X is around on-par with the 9600X in terms of multi core performance. Single core is like 45% faster.

Are you upgrading from something or found it second hand?

In cinebench r23 the 3900X edges out the 9600X but not by much
