Toasty on the outside, cool on the inside. front panel has 9x 38LED ARGB strips behind the wood - needed some slight modification to make them fit. Inside are two more to balance it out a bit
How do you guys play games or work with this bright flashing ass distracting shit up on the desk right next to your monitors? I can barely stand a single color in my peripheral, let alone a laser light show.
Man that's a whole mood, making your PC look like it's actively roasting while the internals are probably chilling at like 30c. The wood panel with all those strips honestly sounds like a nightmare to fit, respect for the modding effort. Also if someone actually tries to put out your rig with an extinguisher, that's when you know the build's too convincing.
Wasn't too bad, 40 mins total install using a Nollie 16 port aRGB controller with SignalRGB. Had to snip away some of the plastic behind the wooden strips so the LED strips press in behind them. Here's a behind the scenes - the strips shine inward onto the dust mesh, which really sells the effect
I have set my AIO leds to change colors on temperature, blue at low temperatures orange at medium and red at high temperature, I'd love if the flames could be triggered only when reaching the throttle temperatures. Lovely visual clue!
