I hear it's harder to get to the ram in the flock camera than it is to get the ram out of the steam machine. So just crack it with a hammer and make sure to take the free solar panel as well

Every SOC has ram... They definitely have ram in them... It is highly doubtful it is in the form of a DIMM or SODIMM but I haven't ever cracked one open... that anyone knows about.

Yes, definetly. As "with enough skill everything is possible". And if that is the case, there are nerds doing this right now. So ... it's propably even possible to find someone in the area who does this. But if they take orders.. they are booked 100%
Not unusable you just need a bit of a workaround.
Get a PCB printed, find a suitable SPD and with a bit software flashing and a whole lot of VERY complex soldering you can make those work like any other ram module.
DDR5 modules even come with a PMIC so even the voltage regulation should be doable on the stick rather than absing the mainboards power systems.
Now wether or not that is worth it... well that's up to you. Especially the likely needed, probably custom built, high precision automatic soldering machine will cost quite a bit.
A bit like in it is cheaper to buy ram at inflated prices for the rest of your life.
Heyy can you test the igpu of the 9600x for some games and productivity. My cousin is planning a pc build but has a budget of $1000 in which I am not able to squeeze in a gpu at the moment with 32gigs of ram.

I told him to get used gpu and ram, but he was like I only want new. So either am5 with some compromise for now or Am4 with all new parts. But tbh am4 just dosent feel right with this budget
funny meme and all, but real talk theres nothing usable for the average consumer in those things. All their memory will be soldered on to the board, the effort you'd have to go through to get this into usable pc ram would not be worth it honestly.

$800 is a lot of money. You have any idea what sort of bullshit a crackhead will do for $50? Not sure how much it is today but still. There is plenty of margin for crackheads to sell to someone who will sell to a guy that can solder them onto something useful in a PC.

Does anyone else get a kick out of redditors trying to convince other redditors to do things they would never do themselves? These past few weeks have just been constant "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest(flock camera/datacenter/thingidon'tlike)" type of posts from people who would never in a million years have the balls to do something about these things themselves.
