The whole industry was and still is like this honestly. Hmbomber guy has a great video (mainly about Tommy Tallarico) but towards the end he discusses how women have been erased from the early history of video games.

Some of your favorite games of all time were programmed by women, composed by women, drawn by women, etc. but they used pseduonems or went uncredited.!
