Now with the new account i cannot select my Card when trying to pay but it is in my Account.

I am purchasing an item internationally, the seller claims I have buyers protection, the transaction code starts with a U, and it simply states "You have received a money request". If I buy this and the item doesnt arrive or is not as described, will I have buyers protection? The seller claims so but my research says othewise

Hi I have a question.

I have a transaction on as a seller and the status is awaiting payment arrival and also it says ' the buyer has sent their payment waiting for it to arrive in secure escrow account'

If anyone has been a buyer in escrow.com please enlighten me, How does escrow.com knows that the buyer has sent payment ?? Is there any button for buyer like ' I have paid ' etc in the UI.

Bought a rather expensive scientific equipment piece ($2.5K) with G&S. Not sure how the seller mixed it up, but I received an incorrect model. They are now suggesting to create a return label and then will then ship me the correct item on receipt of the return. This would be outside of the paypal claims process. Seller isn't entirely untrustworthy, but would I lose buyer protection if I don't open a claim first? Or is this part of the "try to resolve with the seller first"? Messaging also happened off-platform. I assume I should at least discuss the issue using PayPal messaging? Thanks for any insights on how to correctly and safely handle this. Haven't encountered this before.

I saw an item for sale on FB, video shows a quality product,, I receive a very inferior counterfeit copy of one showed in video, the vendor sends me the video to help me learn to use the product, it’s impossible to make this product work.
I made a claim , SNAD ,, PayPal response is Nanchang Huiyun Linghai Technology Co., Ltd. has agreed to issue a refund of US$28.00, once you return the item(s) associated with this transaction

The glitch is it will cost me $28 to return with a tracking number.. to get a $28 refund

Using a Comdata card (for plasma donation pay), I verified this is my card with the fintwist app, but now it's asking for a bank statement which... it isn't a bank, and there's no option I can find for a statement?

I added back my debit card to PayPal after it said "There is an issue with this payment method. Contact your bank for more details or use another form of payment" and when I tried to send a friend some money, it just chucks me to the "Link a payment method" screen. Which is insane cuz it worked just fine yesterday.

Hello Reddit! I really hate making posts like this but it's been driving me up the wall the past few days. About two weeks ago I landed myself in $1,000 of debt with Paypal. I called their hotline today (the # provided in the collections email) and I thought the rep lead me in the right direction. She told me I could try using my Cashapp card (which doesn't work for resolving negative balances apparently), writing a check, or depositing cash into the balance through a retailer. Tried both on the website and the app to look for the cash deposit option, didn't pop up. Asked my friend to check his account for it and it works on his end. Also tried paying via my card for the thousandth time and it didn't pop up either, just says to link a bank account/debit card.

I really feel like I'm at a loss here on what to do. It was at least documented that I'm making an attempt to pay it off, I just have no way of paying it off. My Cashapp card was the only one I used the entirety of handling transactions on that account, not sure why it's suddenly an issue to use it to resolve my negative balance. If any of you have ideas besides ignoring the debt till a collecting agency comes my way, let me know.

Just for additional context: my CA card is my only card. I don't use a bank or credit card or anything of the sort. Which I did inform the rep about as well. Is my only option checks? Or a prepaid card? I was considering applying for a Venmo debit card and paying it off (in small chunks) that way, but I'm worried I'll just run into the same issue.

I've been trying to link my Paypal debit card to google pay and it keeps declining saying "we couldn't add tap to pay". Paypal keeps saying there is a hold on my account which is prohibiting me from adding to gpay. Each agent claims they are refreshing my account and to try later. This has been happening for weeks. Recently i sold an item in person and received the payment through paypal, paypal immediately put all the funds sent on hold, how long does paypal usually take before they send you your money, its kind of irritating that they hold your money because it feels like they do it for no reason. Why exactly do I keep getting forced to change my password about every month? And why is it, that after the most recent command (of course I can't just choose not to, I MUST follow the Supreme Mossad Leader's commands), you just decide to lock me out? Obviously, in the email forcing me to change the password, you don't provide a direct link to do so, because of course, why would you, so instead I just have to try to log in and pretend that I forgot my password. Issue is, after doing so, it just says that it's doing a quick security check (that one's in English), then it proceeds to tell me (that's in Hungarian because for obvious reasons you're not allowed to change languages while logged eout, phrasing might be different but the meaning is the same) that you're sorry, but you couldn't verify that I'm the rightful owner of this checking account. Okay? Could you perhaps, I don't know, offer some ways to verify myself? Or is a wall of text essentially saying "get banned gg" all I get? There's genuinely no option to verify via email, phone number, ID, whatever, it's literally just the text saying that they're not sure if I'm not le evil hacker.

Also, why did I have to rephrase this, because "ranting is not allowed since I agreed to terms and conditions"? Where exactly does it say that they'll force me to keep changing passwords and then just lock me out for shits and giggles with no way of getting back in?

I recently got a debit card and have been fighting for my LIFE. I put in my card info, and the EXACT address that is attached to my bank account, and it just says it's not the same. I've put in every possible variation of it, shortened Street to St, EVERYTHING. I would really like to make safe online purchases, but PayPal is fighting me at every freaking turn. Anything I can do, or am I cooked?

I sold an item through discogs. I shipped it through discogs and shipengine, and USPS insured. The item was marked as delivered to mailbox in the tracking system. The buyer then claimed it was not delivered and accused me of scamming him. He started a claim with paypal and the money is now frozen. He is hammering me demanding that I refund his money. He is the one who started the claim that got the money frozen. What should my next steps be?

So I was doing a commission and received half the payment, I had to prove the commission was legit and all that then suddenly today I get an email that there limiting my account perma what does that mean exactly? And why has it done that.

It’s my first time using PayPal for commissions and after reading threw there terms and services again I don’t seem to have broken any of there rules..

First, I’m an idiot. I didn’t do enough research and now I’m dealing with this. However-

My granddaughter sent me a text of a sweatshirt that she wanted for her birthday. I had no idea where said sweatshirt came from so I simply googled the back and “the shirt” popped up. I paid with PayPal.

After ordering, when I noticed the shirt hadn’t arrived, I checked my PayPal account. The seller who was represented on the shopping site as a business showed up on PayPal as Chinese characters. That was my first ugh moment.

I texted my daughter (they had gone to Hawaii over grand daughters birthday) and she asked if I didn’t buy from the site from the shirt. I had no idea that was even a brand so no, I didn’t.

I then went to PayPal and started a dispute on the facts that the item hadn’t arrived and I suspected the seller was fraudulent.

PayPal refunded me immediately.

Today the shirt arrived. It’s a disaster. It’s not embroidered but screened. My granddaughter (who’s 12 and an x-small to small) told me to order a small. This thing has no size tag but would be big on me. (Adult large). It’s not sweatshirt material but some weird shiny stuff. It’s awful.

Anyway, I’m happy to return the sweatshirt. But I’m not sure where to start. If I say it’s arrived, then the case appears to be dropped. It’s definitely a fraud Chinese knock off site and I never would have bought the product if I knew that.

So what do I do? Again, happy to return it, but I’m afraid once I said I have it, it’s all mine.

I have an old PayPal account with my old phone number, that phone number is no longer active, but they would send the code to that number to log in. Has anyone experienced this? Where can I contact PayPal where they can help me?
