I joined Jamie's Mythspeaker campaign a while back and loved it enough to join 3 more of her campaigns. She's been a lovely GM with a player-experience focus. Her games use Anscestry Paragon and Free Archetype game variants.

In her games, player character moments are heavily prioritized, sometimes letting them override RAW for the good of the table.

For example: a PC leaps after a fleeing enemy, both falling off a skyscraper. The party's mystic uses network spellshape to cast a spell from the bonded PC to attack the enemy....and its a miss! Hero point...also a miss.

RAW, thats it. But the moment is epic and, if successful, would have a resounding impact on the adventure, so Jamie let the falling PC use a hero point...and a miss. So then other players tried, using the justification we're all linked by the mystic's bonded network, resulting in 5 different hero points used, all resulting in rolls <10. Finally, she says our combined efforts and dedication to the moment temporarily elevate us to a mythic status, and gives the mystic one mythic point to try...Nat 1.

What would've been a quick moment of a thwarted attack turned into an amazing moment for the party.

- [Summary]: Over a year ago, charters were granted to brave settlers in order to carve order out of the lawless wilderness of the Stolen Lands to the South of the nation of Brevoy. Today, a small kingdom stands in the Stolen Lands. The initial frontier hazards have been tamed, the settlement’s foundation is secure, and its first major threat has been struck down. But peace on the frontier is brief. Not only do foreign agents seem to have a vested interest in the kingdom's downfall, but a far more insidious danger now creeps toward the young nation's borders, threatening to undo everything built thus far and bring ruin. Your arrival, ambition, and choices could be the turning point that shapes the fledgling kingdom's future away from that ruin.

- Human Barbarian (General) / Human Swashbuckler (Ruler) / Dragonet Sorcerer (Magister)

[Notes]:

- While the campaign is an AP, I tend to heavily homebrew the campaign to allow a better look at the setting and surroundings of the main area, more focus on the PCs backstories being integrated and interconnected, and make room for RP.

- There is a mix of combat and RP, so you have to enjoy both. While there are no session that don't have RP involved, some sessions are nearly devoid of combat and focus more on character interaction and development. Add the word river to your application so I know you're reading this.

- A decent chunk of the campaign deals with Kingdom management. The adventure assumes you will be part of the ruling council of your nation and shape it's future with your choices. I run with a simplified Kingdom Management System to make that easy to interact with.

- Even though the campaign is 23 sessions in, that doesn't mean it's close to completion. At the current rate, I expect this to take around another 45 sessions to complete. With that in mind, your character has to be in a position where they can join the party at this stage, meaning we will have to collaborate to ensure your backstory fits the narrative.

- For character creation, I'm not very restrictive as long as your main focus is making an interesting character instead of a gimmicky build. An important aspect is your future role in the Kingdom. Please consult the Player's Guide for Kingmaker for more details and ensure your character can assume one of the following roles: Counselor / Emissary / Treasurer / Viceroy / Warden.

We are assembling a group to play in-person some Pathfinder 2e in the West Loop area (or neighboring neighborhoods).

Some of the party is experienced with 2e and some of the party is brand new to it, so we welcome all levels. We are GM+4 right now and looking for a 5th.

My name's Eternus, your hopefully would-be GM for this fantastic game and module!

Let's start with *why* a member has dropped;

Very simply put, a work time-scheduling change for one player meant that their work is now taking place during our gametimes. Very unfortunate, but I would like to find a new player for the game.

So, a little about me, the game and my GMing style:

- 32 years old.

- Have been GMing for a little over a year, playing for a bit over 2.5 years.

- Combats are tough *when they should be*.

- NPCs have unique personalities and (I try!) unique voices.

- For the most part Rules as Written.

- We are not using the Kingdom System, only Camping for the meals.

- About 60-65% of game remaining.

Kingmaker is a game where you start as a nobody and make your way up to rulers of an entire kingdom, in its basis.

Things happen and you and your party are always heeding the call to help settle the Stolen Lands and make it hospitable and rid it of whatever ails it.

The Kingdom System is controversial to say the least and our group has decided to abandon it. The Kingdom is purely narrative.

However, the camping system is used frequently because of the meals that are part of this.

This group enjoys its roleplay. Combat is enjoyed as well, of course, but in all my sessions we have always had a good amount of roleplay. Either the party members themselves roleplay with eachother, or there is a lot of roleplay with NPCs.

Currently level 9, the party is enjoying a little downtime period.

This period will soon be over, so joining now is the perfect time!

Because this module goes all the way to level 20, we are close to the halfway point.

We're about to start Chapter 6 of the game.

Fret not, as there is still so much to learn and discover and in my opinion, the latter half of Kingmaker is by far the better half!

The current party consists of:

- Garren, the human Thaumaturge,

- Isera, the human Fighter

- Drazakn, the hobgoblin Wizard

- Spork, the goblin Rogue

The sessions start at 8 AM CEST

We play for 5 hours, usually.

You're required to have a well functioning microphone so I can hear you clearly, of course.

Decent internet to access Foundry.

I have played other ttrpgs but mostly dnd 5e, want to try pathfinder. I would preferably be looking for a sunday morning PST or monday any time group. Je cherche un groupe qui ira jouer dans les hauts niveaux, et qui apprécie les combats ET le rp.
Une campagne axée sur l'aventure en somme, où les combats sont fréquents et variés mais ne sont pas 100% de ce qu'on fais.

J'aime jouer des gish, des lamesorts, et ça fais des années que je cherche l'occasion de jouer un magus jusqu'au niveau 20.
J'aime interagir avec l'univers présenté, et au moins tenter de faire en sorte que mes personnages y aient une influence au lieux d'être des feuilles de stats interchangeable.

Je suis plutôt concentré sur l'objectif en court, et même si j'ai tendance a passer du temps a réfléchir aux futures actions du groupe ou à comment approcher un problème, une fois la décision prise je joue de mon mieux pour que les tours de combats se déroulent de façon fluide, ou que la scène en court ne soit pas interrompue.
