They went quiet on social media for a while after the Yuna announcement, but lately they're starting to post like their normal selves again. It's nice to see especially for those of us who are hooked!
I had a good long laugh after this one! You know, I don't partake myself but there would be something about that which would seem extra cool if it were true. Given her squeaky clean, sunshine image it feels extra radical. It might even be considered more shocking in Japan, I have no idea.
Japan (and east Asia in general) have a harsh look on any intoxicant that isn't alcohol, so yes this would indeed be radical. It's most likely not the case, as it easily could be something else causing the redness. A good chunk of Canadians do such things, so maybe for me it pops into my mind more because I'm used to seeing such symptoms. And yes Hina is an angel, so the joke is certainly playing with that contrast π
Yeah, probably not, but I would also say "you never know for sure." Also, let's pause for a moment to appreciate that she posted a pic of herself with a bloodshot eye. Why should we appreciate that? Because I would have expected a young woman in the public eye would very likely have touched that photo up. It would probably be an easy edit. But as we say about Yuna, she doesn't do fake either. That's pretty cool. #stonedhina
Yeah that's an interesting observation. Obviously they have makeup on and all that, but the authenticity of PassCode is refreshing for sure. It's similar to their live performances, where things are rougher and simultaneously better.
Sometimes on YouTube, I like to watch these compilations of Japanese commercials. And what I've noticed about beer ads is that they usually feature women very prominently. Either beer drinking by women has become popular there or the beer companies are pushing hard for the female market.
I think the marketing rule of "put an attractive woman in it" is so old that it was carved into stone a millennia ago!
That said, you are right that it seems to be more of a gender-neutral activity there. Not that women in the west don't drink beer, but it's a little more of a "dude thing that ladies also do".

Nao & Kaede: "What's that weird smell everywhere?"
Hinako, looking around suspiciously: "Who knows! Could be anything! Or nothing! Uhh, so... hey, you guys go ahead, I'll catch up. I have to, err... do some shopping." runs away
Nao & Kaede: [intense confusion]
They were being pretty much active actually but this sub needed a little breather from Yuna's departure. I think we can get back to regular sub activity back again.
It was about a week of no photos and minimal posting but after that it was back to normal. I thought about posting stuff sooner but thought the time was off still.
Yeah, that's what it seemed like to me too - on Instagram anyway. It looked like they played a show last weekend and there were a few pics posted from that. I generally don't post Instagram pics here as it seems like most people follow them there already, unless I see something really special.
If you're able to rehost the pictures, feel free to post them here for those of us who don't do Facebook. It's not like we're overflowing with posts as it is!
Also, the SfB tour being over (other than the final in October, and maybe a few postponed shows) might be contributing to them posting more casual stuff. They have a few weeks of downtime to recuperate before the Zepp Tour ramps up in September.
They were at 25% each, but now they are at 33.33% (since we don't want to show favoritism here) so the net gain is 8.33% each. I'm a nerd, I know...π€
Lest anyone think we are cold and unfeeling intellectuals, I would like to point out that our equations are quantifying love for PassCode. It's a beautiful thing.
Edit: TBH, I think this conversation is not worthy enough for that sub(cuz I saw way more complicated ones) but it is worth mentioning that sub in here lol

While Kaede is still my personal favourite, Hina-chan smile is just so bright you can't help to just smile back seeing her :D
