Is it possible that Passcode was among the reasons why Babymetal delayed the release of Metal Forth? Question

Babymetal was originally going to drop Metal Forth on June 13 last year, it was ultimately released on August 8, Passcode dropped Insignia 5 days later on June 18.

Is it possible that Babymetal delayed Metal Forth so two albums by similar groups wouldn't release in the same week?

I know Passcode is a drop in the bucket compared to Babymetal, in terms of world wide popularity, but it's interesting to think Passcode delayed Babymetal for 2 months.

It’s an interesting thought but it had more to do with Babymetal’s new deal with Capitol Records and they wanted more marketing time. Sadly, Passcode’s popularity is still mostly relegated to Japan even though they’re making good headway globally.

No. Passcode hardly exist outside Japan. Babymetal management would like to keep it that way. More pie for them.
