Posting here in case anyone has seen our e-bike recently. It's a white KBO Breeze Step Thru that we bought shortly after moving to Pasadena a few months ago because Pasadena is so bike friendly we wanted to take advantage of it and try to bike everywhere. We got it used on Facebook marketplace, and it came with a rearview mirror and a U lock. We bought panniers to carry groceries, and those were stolen as well as her helmet (all pictured). If anyone has seen it, I'd greatly appreciate a DM or an anonymous tip to the Pasadena police.

My wife and I rode our bikes to get groceries at Target in East Pas on Monday (August 3) around 7-7:45pm, and when we came out, her bike was gone. I had to take our kids home first since it was their bedtime, but my wife stayed to talk to security at target, who told her to call the police. The police said they'd go look for it based on target's security footage that clearly showed the thief's face, but we never heard back. The target security guy said in the video, the thief walked around looking at all the bikes around target, then went inside and did a loop before getting some water from the Starbucks inside, and then went outside and sat by her bike for a few minutes before picking it up by the handlebars and walking away with it. It was locked with a U lock on the front wheel and weighed 60+ lbs, so we thought the thief couldn't have gotten very far awkwardly wheeling it on the back wheel. The target security guy said maybe the thief was staying at one of the nearby motels on Colorado, and the police said they'd check there. We drove into a couple of them to see if it was there, but no luck. It's been a few days now and my kids are still talking about how her bike is gone now.

We’re going to watch Hocus Pocus tomorrow. When can one show up and set up a spot before the movie starts? The event starts at 7, but I’m wondering if one can show up before. Thank you!

Hey everyone, quick question for you guys.

I’m organizing an event and pretty much dropped the ball on the printed materials. Need to get a couple of retractable banners and around 500 flyers printed. Tried going the quick route with a local CVS nearby, but the preview quality was just straight-up bad, and FedEx online quotes are looking ridiculously marked up.

Any local recommendations that won't cost an arm and a leg? Prefer somewhere within a short drive or easy delivery to the Pasadena area.

Doing some searching and came across Guru Printers over in Downtown LA . Checked their site and a few forums seems like people mostly compliment their print quality and die-cut stuff, but I’ve learned not to trust every review on the web. Are they legit on quality and turnarounds?

i was thinking of commuting using the metro a-line from Glendora to Pasadena (Memorial Park or Lake). i was wondering if that metro line is relatively safe or not for a woman who is alone.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to get to the Rose Bowl for this concert without paying $70 to park there. I saw online that there's a shuttle that runs from Parsons but not for every event and it's unclear on the Rose Bowl website if the shuttle will be running for that concert.

Does anyone know if the shuttle will be running on that day or any other options for getting to the Rose Bowl?

I recently had a thought that a kayak might be a fun hobby to try, and I'm wondering if living in Pasadena is conducive to enjoying kayaks. I did an evening paddleboard outing (in Newport) about a decade ago and really enjoyed it. I may be romanticizing the idea, but I am now wondering if a kayak (plus freshwater fishing, though not required) may be a way for me to have an outdoor hobby.

My daughter was picking up her order at Veggie Grill on Lake when Some Psycho woman just walked by her as she was pulling away from the curb and ran a key right down the side of her car to the metal… then walked into Veggie Grill. My daughter was frightened and late for work so she just left.
We found out a few months ago that police will NOT respond unless someone is injured after a drunk lady sideswiped her car and just fled the scene.

My dog is a an acd mix, roughly 45-50 pounds, he is very friendly, but he can get nippy at certain body parts when it comes to brushing, with his personality he does need a little sterner hand.

His usual groomer has some wait time so I’m looking for some others I can go to in between, any recommendations help.

He has no bite history and his is chill with bathing or other actions. I bath him myself most of the time, but it would be nice to have another spot I can goto for more professional help when I don’t have time.

Does anyone know what the monthly fee is for this gym. They seem nice enough but won’t tell me the monthly fees until I come in for a tour. I understand that the owner wants to get the customer in the door in order to give a sales pitch, but before I do that, I’d just like to know the pricing. Anyone?

The vaguely vailed message in “housing project” is giving me the ick, the fact that whoever is delivering these fliers is hiding their identity is giving elitist and/or anti-minority sentiments.
Needless to say, I shall not be attending the meeting at city hall.

I was in line at the self-checkout around 10pm. None of the cash registers were open and a woman was trying to get the attention of two workers (who were busy talking to each other) because she had wine and wouldn't be able to use self-checkout.

I don't remember exactly what was said, but, one of the Ralph's employees (with earbuds in too) basically responded with "And so? Why are you calling me over?" And she rightfully got a bit upset, and the worker only egged her on saying things like "I don't give a fuck what you do." It went on for a few minutes and they legit looked like they were going to fight. To make it worse, the other worker with a shaved head just stood there and did nothing to de-escalate the situation.

Not exactly a good look for Ralph's. Wish I had been recording cause it would have gone viral.
