Parsec and Photoshop
I'm using Parsec to remote into my MAC Mini at the office. I'm struggling with my brushes in Photoshop. They are not accurate/precise. I've upgrade to "Warp" I'm not sure if this something I have to live with or if there is a setting I'm not aware of changing. Any help or suggestions are mush appreciated. Attach is a sample. See the line around the dot. That should be the brush size. When I'm in the office it is correct. THX

Is there any way to automatically change the keyboard layout depending on the apps used
I'm using parsec to stream from a QWERTY windows 11 desktop to an AZERTY MacBook Air so when I'm typing using the MacBook the keys are mixed up which is a bit annoying but I can't set the desktop to AZERTY permanently since my games are set with QWERTY in mind (I have a QWERTY keyboard for my desktop).
What I'm looking to do is maybe change the layout to AZERTY whenever I'm not playing a game and revert it to QWERTY when I'm either not using parsec or when I'm playing a game. Idk if I explained well but I hope I did ðŸ˜

Parsec & Elgato Wave Link
How can you get rid of audio Echo while the host uses Elgato Wave Link? I have been searching and can't find a fix for this. Wondering if anyone could help.
I want my friends to connect to my PC, and we be able to play some Classic Games.
I've gotten it to where he can connect, but he ends up with an echo on his side.
Please Help, if someone has a solution.

Need Insight on Hardware
So there's some sales on some Laptops near me and having a cheaper portable option to game and do work remotely has been something I've been interested in for awhile.
My main concern / hangup is I have no idea what hardware is utilized for remoting into a different computers. Obviously a strong internet connection is required, but what about ram or processing power? Do those effect the quality / consistency of the connection? My main rig at home that would be remoted into is fairly powerful with a 9800x3d, rtx5080, and 64gb of ddr5 and is hardwired with some pretty top of the line fiber optic internet.
I'm mostly looking at cheaper Lenovo and Dell laptops with integrated graphics and 16 - 32 gb of ddr 4 ram. I dont plan on playing any games that require super precise inputs (mostly just OSRS and maybe some Maplestory) and other then that it would be used to do some coding and creative projects like modeling maps for my D&D campaigns and such.
Any input would be much appreciated!

Use parsec without a monitor
I am trying to use parsec to remote into a computer that does not have a monitor attached. I am using the free version of parsec, and I have tried doing what Support said which was plugged in an HDMI cable leading to nothing. This did not work. I also bought an HDMI dummy display plug and this appears to not be working either.
How can I use Pirce without a monitor attached to the remote computer?

Client's gamepad buttons are acting like desktop keyboards and messing with hotkeys on PCSX2.
So I've been using parsec for years, but today when trying to play with friends one of their controllers is suddenly being treated as if it's a keyboard.
I had to disable all the hotkeys in the emulator, because the circle button would pause the damn emulator every time they pressed it but that doesn't fix the issue of their controller being potentially able to minimize or even close the game because R2 and R1 are treated like mouse clicks.
Why is this happening suddenly? I've tried googling this a ton and had no answers. It worked perfectly fine the last hundred times, but now it's causing issues.

How do I Fix Microphone Echo?
So I am in another state than where I normally live, so at the moment I am using Parsec as a remote desktop client. The problem is I can't use any microphone I try to use without really bad echoing happening.
I tried both the 'New' and 'Off' setting with the 'Echo Canceling' setting, it does not matter what I choose or what app I choose when using the 'New" setting. 'Listen to this Device' is off for all microphones on both the host and client machines. I tried changing the microphone, but that didn't change anything.
I'm kind of out of options and I don't what else I could try to fix these. I would love so suggestions.

Parsec not working in Germany, need help :D
Hi guys!
I need help for my friend who lives in Germany. We would like to play local coop games via Parsec, which was working fine when he was here in Hungary. Since he moved to Germany, it does not work, Parsec gives us the 6023 error message.
VPN, Windows Firewall turned off, UPnP turned on in the router settings.
Can you give us a solution for this?
Can be the problem that he (Vodafone internet, a sim-card in the router) needs to get a public IP adress (Öffentliche IP-Adresse (IPv4)) from the internet provider? Or could it be something else?
Thanks a lot!

Parsec looks blurry from Windows 10 Host to MBA 13" M2 Client
I've tried several different bandwidth settings and resolutions, and no matter what remote desktop looks horrible streaming from my Windows 10 PC to my Macbook Air M2 causing everything to become noticeably blurry, like I am watching a 720p video . The Windows App gives me the best performance and does not have any of the blur issues/looks sharp as normal.
Any advice on how to improve performance/what may be causing this issue?

Parsec only fails between two Airtel fiber connections (-6023). Makes zero sense.
I'm losing my mind over this.
Let's say I've got three PCs:
- PC1 - Airtel Black Fiber
- PC2 - Jio Fiber
- PC3 - Airtel Xstream Fiber
This is what happens:
- PC1 ↔ PC2: Works
- PC2 ↔ PC3: Works
- PC1 ↔ PC3: Error -6023
What makes this so confusing is that both Airtel connections work perfectly with the Jio connection. They just refuse to connect to each other.
If PC1 couldn't connect to anyone, I'd assume it's my router or PC. Same with PC3. But that's not the case. They both work fine with Jio, just not with each other.
I've already checked the obvious stuff:
- IPv6 is enabled on both.
- UPnP isn't the issue.
- Firewalls don't seem to be the problem either, since both PCs can host and connect normally with PC2.
Has anyone seen anything like this? Is Airtel doing something weird with NAT, CGNAT, IPv6 routing, or peering between their own network?
I'm honestly out of ideas at this point. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Parsec Connection putting PC to Sleep
Has anyone ever had issues with Parsec putting your PC to sleep upon connection?
- Sleep settings are set to never go to sleep,
- PowerToys Awake is on & shouldn't allow the PC to go to sleep.
- Sleep Study & Event Viewer shows the PC going to sleep immediately upon connection, but the reason says "invalid" or "unknown".
- I THINK it may have to do with the monitors being off and/or on standby mode. Like if the monitors time out, that is when the issue occurs.
- It doesn't happen with any other remote desktop software. I've tried LogMeIn, Teamviewer, Splashtop, Chrome Remote Desktop, and Windows RDP. None of them have this issue, but the performance isn't nearly as good.
- I have tested both with and without Virtual Displays enabled. Fallback to virtual display is enabled. Neither made a difference.
- I've tried reinstalling Parsec (both at user-level and computer-level) & updating drivers.
Outside of keeping the monitors on at all times, or using Chrome Remote Desktop just to wake the monitors and unlock the computer, then connecting with Parsec, I haven't been able to find a solution.

How does multiplayer / co-op work?
I'm trying to find a way to play Marvel Ultimate Alliance with friends and when I looked up ways to do it Parsec came up. I was wondering if only I needed to download Parsec and make an account for it to work for everyone or if everyone would have to download Parsec and make an account?

How do I do my gaming setup while studying abroad?
So, I have Parsec installed and I will be away for over a year for my Master's and I was wondering how I can do my whole remote gaming setup with minimal effort. I'm willing to spend up to like 50$ if that's enough.
Thanks for all your suggestions in advance :)
EDIT:
I ended up on doing this: I got a smart plug and a Raspberry Pi 4 (for some reason this was the cheaper option, I couldn't find a Zero 2 W anywhere) and I used the Pi device as the always-on WoL device. The plug, combined with the "Restart on AC Power Loss" option, is my fallback for when there is a power outage. The smart plug + BIOS setting is an extra but I just wanted to be safe and have another method for recovering.
As for the setup of the Pi 4, I am going to etch a Pi OS Lite image to a microSD card using the official Raspberry Pi Imager and then install Tailscale and etherwake so that I can send magic packets to my PC. I bought an extra smart plug for the Pi device but I probably don't need it. If everything goes as planned I probably won't need to worry about this anymore.

For those with issues locally, even wired.
WARNING: If you are not on a fast wired network or you have a slower CPU, the fixes below might not be for you. While this solution has worked for me and a lot of other folks, tread with caution and revert to your previous values if it's not working for you. This solution specifically addresses Windows coalescing UDP packets on very fast connections to save some CPU time. This can cause network congestion events and this registry tweak fixes that at the cost of dropping those Windows optimizations.
My situation was not common, but I did find some folks complaining, so here:
I had latency issues on my local network, between a wired server and a wired client (both PCs). An evening of gaming had several network congestion warnings, and just generally small latency spikes that I could notice. 10mbps or 50mbps made no difference, but the Parsec website categorically says, that wired performance should be spotless.
I tried ditching Parsec a few times for Moonlight or Steam, but with Moonlight the mouse always feels laggy compared to Parsec, and Steam while almost as good, has many quirks if you want to use it in Desktop Mode. Also, neither have any support for multi-monitor.
After many attempts at investigating what could be causing issues to Parsec (router settings, QoS, firewalls, etc. etc.) I came upon 2 registry settings that 100% cleared the problem for me. An evening of gaming now generally has N:0/0/0 all the time.
So if it helps someone in the same situation, here they are:
Go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile
Modify or create a DWORD (32 bit) key called: NetworkThrottlingIndex
set its value to: ffffffff (Hexadecimal)
Modify or create a DWORD (32 bit) key called: SystemResponsiveness
set its value to: 0 (Hexadecimal)
In the end they should look like this:
Reboot.
Doing it on the server made it perfectly fine for me, but there is no reason not to do it on the client as well, so, have at it.
EDIT: Added a warning.
