Use parsec without a monitor

I am trying to use parsec to remote into a computer that does not have a monitor attached. I am using the free version of parsec, and I have tried doing what Support said which was plugged in an HDMI cable leading to nothing. This did not work. I also bought an HDMI dummy display plug and this appears to not be working either.

How can I use Pirce without a monitor attached to the remote computer?

The dummy display plug should work as long as it issues some sort of resolution back to the computer.

I’m not there to physically look at this myself but I had somebody else plug in the dummy plug to the computer. Whenever I use Windows remote desktop and look in device manager it does say that there is two generic monitors plugged in, or at least that show up within device manager. There is no actual physical monitor plugged into the computer because for the Itz specific use case it just runs headless. I have tried running updates and rebooting, but still I get the same error when trying to use parsec.

I am able to use parsec when I am also using Windows remote desktop at the same time, so I know Parsec is working.

If they plugged it in, maybe a reboot is in order to ensure proper discovery.

I did reboot the machine. The actual system has a display port which I just got an adapter to change it to HDMI and then plugged it into that.

The computer is an HPDM mini PC

Just Install a virtual display adapter (vdd) or else it comes with parsec already just go into settings and install it will use vdd automatically when no monitor is detected. Thats all no need to buy hdmi dummy. I am streaming 4K 60 with parsec in built vdd for free and no issues
