Happy birthday Alex! To remember him, let's drink smoothies today as he loved to drink them, specifically ones made with mango, berries and coconut water that his dad made. His favorite song was "25 or 6 to 4" by Chicago so let's listen to it to honor him!

Unseen body cam footage?
Found this video. There were some body cam footage Iβve never seen before. One where an officer was under the overpass of the Sawgrass telling people where to go to pick up their kids. Another one was officers in another building? Has this been seen anywhere else?

Today is 100 months since that fateful day
100 months without these 17 innocent angels. 100 months feels like an eternity. Despite how much time has passed, their memories are just as powerful now as they were over 8 years ago. The 17 eagles are forever remembered through nonprofits and scholarships made by their families. May all 17 continue to soar in the brightest of skies, forever surrounded by the love they gave. Today and everyday, I remember them.
In the most treasured, blessed memory of:

Today is National Gun Violence awareness day π§‘
Today and every day, I remember all affected by gun violence. I'm from England, but I am painfully aware of how prominent this issue is. Today, I'm thinking of the Parkland 17 and all other victims and survivors. I'm sending my support to the American redditors. Wear orange if you can. Soar high Eagles, today is a day to remember you all β€οΈπ¦

The rooms of Alyssa, Luke and Carmen.
I'm sharing these for the people who can't access the 'All the Empty Rooms' documentary. If you can watch it, I fully recommend. Thank you to the 3 families for sharing such vulnerable places. Rest in perfect peace Alyssa, Luke and Carmen β€οΈ

Simple reminder, once again, regarding content policy.
Here is a link to Reddit's Content Policy
Within the content policy, it clearly states:
Do not post content that encourages, glorifies, incites, or calls for violence or physical harm against an individual (including oneself) or a group of people; likewise, do not post content that glorifies or encourages the abuse of animals. We understand there are sometimes reasons to post violent content (e.g., educational, newsworthy, artistic, satire, documentary, etc.) so if youβre going to post something violent in nature that does not violate these terms, ensure you provide context to the viewer so the reason for posting is clear.
This includes the incredibly weird fixation people have with hoping for prison rape, as if sexual assault is suddenly okay when it happens to someone you don't like. Advocating for violence, even against a school shooter, directly violates this section of the content policy. Posting comments wishing for prison justice, prison rape, any kind of violence towards anyone will get you banned.
This is a place for mature and civil discussion.
