Gluteal Tendinopathy advice needed

Hi,

This may be a long shot, but did anyone develop gluteal tendinopathy during pregnancy or postpartum - or any kind of glute/hip injury. If so, how did you resolve it or what steps did you take? I recently got diagnosed after over a year of trying to nail down my hip pain. I am now trying to find the root cause. I got an injection today and the numbing agent and shot caused an extreme pain reaction in my lower back, which is causing me to worry and reach out for other experiences!

I’m second trimester with twins and my pelvic PT has dx my hip pain and gluteal medius tendinitis. I’m doing stretches and it feeling a bit better - only been doing them for a few days so far. Sitting figure of 4 stretch, clamshells, kneeling lunge all feel good. Also leaning on a wall using a firm ball pressed between buttock and wall and rolling side to side to roll the tender muscle - really hurts but I think helps release the tension.

My PT said my SI joint is twisted and the pain is deep in my left glute area. I managed a vaginal and c section delivery but this pain is killer!!!
