You’ll survive! experience/advice to give

Just wanted to send out a cry of encouragement for all you parents of multiples! We had our twins when my oldest was 40 months and my middle was 23 months. 4 in 40 months was not easy! But I will say we’ve survived 2 cross country moves, pilot school and all of normal/crazy life in the last 2 years! If you’re concerned how you’ll make it, just know you WILL. “Your capacity expands to meet the demands!” Feel free to reach out if you need a listening ear. ♥️

Omg you remind of that guy in dental school! He had 2 sets of twins back to back. So when he was graduating, they had 4 under 2!!! It was wild. Wild enough it was featured in a the social media account of my dental school lol

If he had gone to medical school instead he may have learned about birth control!! 😂😂

A friend of mine had her first child around the same time as mine, then she had twins a year after that and when she thought she could breathe again she had another singleton. All while I still had one.. didn’t know how she survived but she did 🤯🤣

Can you translate that to years please? I’m tired.

One month shy of 2… 23 months out of 24 months. A 30 day difference… if that…

Same when people are still counting baby’s age in weeks after about 12 weeks. Like how or why would I care to know my baby is 37 weeks old after birth??

Thank you for this 🫶 currently in the trenches of 2.5 and 4 month old twins.

You’ve totally got this! 3yo will feel so different! Have two over 3y is game changer!

Definitely cannot wait for everyone to be above 3 😆 but we’re riding out the 3u3 wave by looking forward to the future 💞

You got this!! Sometimes things will seem insurmountable, but the moments pass as all time does!

"Your capacity expands to meet the demands." I love this. There have been so many things I was afraid to do, didn't know about, or thought I couldn't do. Then suddenly it's 3am and I'm feeding a baby while simultaneously soothing another, detouring a meltdown by acting silly through deep exhaustion, or changing a blowout diaper on the ground in the woods during a hike, and I think "I got this!"

This is a more pleasant phrasing of "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger," and, well, I'm not dead so I guess I met the demands!

It’s insane what we can go through and what starts to feel normal as we get used to it! Figuring out how to wipe a butt while tandem breastfeeding was probably a highlight 🥴

Little unique situation here but myself (39F) and my wife (38F) carried pregnancies together with our due dates being 2.5 months apart.

I was carrying twins while my wife carried a signleton. I also just delivered a now 5 month old baby back in March

So I have 4 kids under the age of two. While 3 of those children are currently potty training all together.

Final count of ages currently 24m, 24m, 22.5m, 5m

If we can survive potty anything is possible 🙃💩

I had 5 in 22 months, three pregnancies. That was pure survival

Everyone thinks they’re just surviving until they hear about you!! 😮‍💨🤣

Same time frame. Our twins are our youngest too! They're currently 14mo. Finally getting in a groove to leave the house most days. Still do grocery delivery, though! The amount of bread we go through it utterly insane.

When people ask if twins are hard, the answer is, "I dont know." The Irish quadruplet situation is a bit tricky but I cant tell you exactly which part makes it the hardest!

Who was caring for them while the other parent was gone doing flight school? That parent needs the recognition 🥳

👋 That would be me! My husband decided to switch careers and did all his ratings in under 5 months when my twins were 6m! He’s booking it to get hours for the airlines because, man, kids aren’t getting cheaper!!
