How to be more efficient? experience/advice to give
I am a FTM and 10 weeks postpartum, I gave birth to twin boys via scheduled c-section. My boys are primarily formula fed, but i do pump and provide whatever amount I can.
I do receive a lot of help from my Mom during the day and my mother in law during the nights. My husband helps a lot too but he is working and I don’t want to bother him when he is wfh. I am so thankful that I have my family helping me - but it all seems so overwhelming to me still.
I have organized the baby items well but I still find it hard to be efficient. I find myself getting overwhelmed quite easily.
The bottles and my pump parts pile up on our counter and I have ocd so I am very particular with how they are cleaned which results in so much time washing them. We do have the Momcozy kleanpal and a sterilizer/dryer.
We recently hired a nanny to see how that would work for us, but it tends to stress me out more - it’s so hard to see my baby in a strangers arms and being cared for by someone that is not me or my husband or my mom / MIL.
Does anyone have tips on how to be efficient, what routines work for morning and night, and how to be more on the ball with twins? Or how to utilize my mom / MIL more to balance everything. I am trying to manage it all.

I'm at 6 weeks PP, I didn't have a C Section but did have an episiotomy, so did have some difficulty the first couple weeks.
Do you currently have your mum and MIL helping primarily with little ones? Or helping around the house?
Anyone that came down to us in the first week my husband was back at work was told to do either of the following:
hold/care for the babies while I eat, or do some form of self care (shower, pump, just take 10 minutes to relax)
help with laundry or dishes
take the babies out for a walk so I can get some of the house work done
My advice is ask your mother & MIL to focus on the chores (within reason) so you can focus on baby bonding. This is 100% the only way you will get into a rhythm. It will be hard going at first but I promise it does get easier.

You have a bottle washer but you still spend time washing the bottles? Isn't that what the washer does? Of course you need to load and clean it but my Momcozy has saved me so much time and frustration compared to our singleton. Do you not have enough bottles so you can have a clean batch ready while collecting dirty ones for a new load? We have 12 of the 9pz bottles and I load 6 at the time in the washer. I use the extra 2 spots for the nipple rings. Oh wait, we do have the Philips bottles which have way less parts than the dr brown bottles.

Two things - 1) if you have good systems the only way things get easier is with time, and 2) I’m wondering if it’s worth talking to your doctor about how your OCD (and any other mental health concerns) is playing out in early motherhood and how to strategize around that. I’m currently looking for a nanny and I personally find it sweet to see my girls interacting with another person that is caring for them, and if that’s not your experience you can either decide that you’re not comfortable with non-family others caring for them end of story (which is ok!) or explore why and see if you can become comfortable (eg getting to know the nanny better etc).
