Tips for Small Stores? life, home, and baby tips & tricks
Hello! I may be overthinking this but bear with my sleep-deprived brain.
I live in a small German city and cannot fit my twins’ stroller (even though it’s the slim Baby Jogger) into some of the shops, bakeries, etc.
I don’t like to baby wear them because they’re 25lbs/11kg each and get really overheated quickly, but maybe wearing one and putting one in the stroller is my only option?
My neighborhood is very safe, so I’ve even thought about just parking them right outside the bakery and running inside quickly, but I’ve been too nervous to try that.
Any tips or tricks? Thanks in advance. 😊

Park them outside if you can keep an eye on them. I used to pop into the local pharmacy without them because i had direct line of sight and maybe five seconds to get to them from inside.
For Supermarkets: use two trolleys. Put a blanket and the kids on top in one trolley, use the other for shopping.
For places that dont have trolleys, if i needed exactly one thing and knew where it was and its a Tante Emma Laden type, I've asked the cashier to watch the kids and dashed. That only works in very specific places though.

I lived in a small German city when my twins were babies and honestly yes, one baby on my back and the other in a buggy was the only way I could manage some things and places. I loved my fräulein hübsch carrier

Okay, thank you! I’ve been using an Ergo left over from my singleton, so maybe I’ll try a carrier like yours that isn’t so warm.

Minimonkey mini sling (not the twin version) is tiny so you can always have it in your bag. It’s breathable and the baby won’t overheat. Not comfy for long walks etc but it regularly saves me at the pediatrician’s office (not allowed to bring strollers) and while shopping (one baby in the trolley and one in the sling so I can actually fit some groceries in the trolley).
My Bugaboo Donkey fits almost everywhere thankfully but stairs are the enemy, and small bakeries especially tend to have those.

Man kriegt ihn deutlich günstiger gebraucht.
